I don't think you know much about USC...no offense, but this past year he played behind an OL where the C was the best player, and they'd lost their TE, QB, and both RB's from the year before.

This year Jarrett was with a first time starter in Booty and a freshman RB in Gable. The USC defense was one of the best ever this past year, but the offense struggled early in the year and at the end of the year against UCLA. Jarrett and Smith were the offense.

Hold on a second here. Booty was the offense. He threw for 3347 yards, 61.7 comp. %, 29 TDs, 9 INTs and a 144 QBRT. Smith did have a great season but lets not forget about Chauncy Washington, 744 yards, 9TDs, Emmanual Moody, 459 yards and a 5.8 YPC average. USC was loaded again last season. USC has, by far, the deepest RB stable in the country. Jarrett played with a lot of talent that balanced the field a great deal. Jarrett did not play against a lot of double coverage this last season. That's a true statement.

from watching his draft highlight video http://bbs.3adownlow.com/vb/showthread.php?threadid=63673,
I think he plays a lot like Keyshawn. He made some bad passes look good. His stride is long, but he has a couple of decent moves off the break. He uses his body to keep defenders away from the ball... If he ran a 4.5, he would not be available at 22. I wouldn't mind seeing him wear the Star.

Cue the Jerry Rice comparisons.

It's way to soon to be mentioning those two names in the same post, but reality is what you think it is.

Only thing that's compared here is his speed. Nothing is said about him becoming close to the next Rice. Don't read too much into it.

Now people ask yourselves one question, who is the most productive wide receiver in this draft?:hammer:

If we are strickly talking about production, then the answer to this question is probably Sidney Rice.

Actually not at all. Rice only played two years of college ball.
