Though it may be of little consolation, the Great Aaron Rodgers

I want to think that way, but we all felt the same way in 2006 when we had a young Romo. But things change, season to season. Injuries, free agency, coaching changes, poor play, etc. It's not a guarantee we even make the playoffs next year, which is why you always have to make your shot count. Just hurts we were so close and a few missed calls and poor plays ended the season

I get your point, and my memory may be off but I think the biggest difference in the team vs 2007 is the youth on our oline and the stud RB. Also Dez is still in his prime, Beasley is a nice little slot receiver and honestly we do have a few promising pieces on defense.

With Jaylon Smith playing next year and hopefully a productive offseason I think we are right back in it.

Now we have to do what we haven't done in what seems like forever and have back to back great seasons. I wonder how much the first place schedule hurts us or why in the past weve had so much trouble dealing with success. I do however think this years team is cut from a different cloth.

This is different. The year before they went 10-6 and won the SB. They won something already. We haven't won anything or have been close to in awhile.

True. How about this one.
In his first playoff game Rodgers played great. 4 td passes but lost in OT due to his turnover I believe on the first play of ot.
That crazy 51-45 Arizona game

That was 2009. They won it all the year after. Interesting point.

led a 15-1 Packers team to a No. 1 seed in 2011 and went one and done vs. the NY Giants.
It happens to the best of them. One day, hopefully, Dak can do this to another No. 1 seed.

Dak certainly has the intangibles. I have no fear in the 4th qtr with Dak at the helm. He's cold as ice when it matters.

I like the comparison to the Roethlisberger led Steelers in 2005. Went 13-3 but lost in AFC championship then went the whole way next season.

Please please please improve the defense in the offseason.
