Though it may be of little consolation, the Great Aaron Rodgers

Agreed. Often, the best Coaches win!
Very good point. I'm on the Garret has to go agenda for a while. So disappointed in him as a coach. We came out very flat.

It just goes to show you how awesome Dak is going to be. First playoff game and was down 21-3 and rallied the troops back into the game.

I'm not a Garret defender or hater. I think his role is very limited in the power structure. I'm 'meh' on him.

But I don't see how anyone thinks we came out flat. We marched right down the field right out of the gate. If anything the adrenaline was running overdrive.

You honestly think the guys weren't jacked up? Flat?!?!

Let's recall how apprehensive most of us were upon entering this season and how we managed to glean miracles out of the dumpster fire that appeared to be so likely. We just came within inches of beating a perennial contender. We have virtuallly nothing to be disheartened about.

led a 15-1 Packers team to a No. 1 seed in 2011 and went one and done vs. the NY Giants.
It happens to the best of them. One day, hopefully, Dak can do this to another No. 1 seed.

You guys will be fine. You have an amazing foundation with Dak, Zeke, and that offensive line. I would be absolutely shocked if this core group of players doesn't win at least one Super Bowl for Dallas.

Quick note on the 2011 Packers: Joe Philbin was our OC at that time. We had a historically great offense that year. The week of that divisional game, Philbin's son died in an accident. He was found dead after drowning in a river, and toxicology showed that he was intoxicated. As expected, the team spent a great deal of time that week on matters related to the death: wake, funeral, etc. Needless to say, it wasn't a typical week of preparation. Philbin's loss was absolutely terrible, and it had a crushing effect on the players, coaches, fans, etc. Of course, it also likely affected their preparation and play. So that playoff game frequently falls into the "what if" category for the Packers.

True. How about this one.
In his first playoff game Rodgers played great. 4 td passes but lost in OT due to his turnover I believe on the first play of ot.
That crazy 51-45 Arizona game

Almost. On the first play of OT, Rodgers barely overthrew Greg Jennings for an 80-yd TD. The next play was the sack/fumble. Although one could argue that there should have been a facemask penalty:

It's not going to make anyone feel better because the same thing has happened to us twice in 9 years and our last championship was 21 years ago. The Cowboys have lost their last 5 divisional round games dating back to 1996. We put ourselves in the best position possible to reach a SB and have blown it twice the past 10 years.

Thanks for the historical info. I don't remember that if I heard about it at all.

If I'm not mistaking Russell Wilson and the Seahawks did the same thing his rookie season. It's been good for him since.
