Tyler actually got away with a couple of holds. Luckily they weren’t called.

I really thought Turpin was gonna win the game with a punt return at the end. We need to get him the ball more than returns and a jet sweep. He needs a couple bubble or slip screens. Get the ball in open space. The more weapons we use the less keys the defense has

-Start of the season, we would of taken a split in our first 2 home games against two quality teams.

Offense

-Thought the offense had more balance, before they went conservative in the 2nd half.
-Didn't like the pitches to the outside for Zeke. Get him running downhill!
-Pollard has to get more touches in the run/pass
-OL didn't commit 1 penalty, that is a major accomplishment.
-Tyler/Farnoik had a few mental mistakes, did give up a sack. All and all they have held up thus far. Growing pains are expected out of 1st yr starters. Tyler has played as good as those 1st rd Tackles.
-Martin/Steele were getting a tremendous push in the run game.
-Noah Brown had his best game of his career.
-Cooper Rush was clutch throughout the game and was money on the final drive. Has earned the job.
-Shultz had issues again with his blocking and had a bad fumble that could of sealed the game.

Defense

-What can you say about Parsons, I actually felt bad for Collins in that matchup. You would think teams will start doubling him on every snap, it will be up to Quinn to get him into single matchups with scheme.
-It wasn't only Parsons, Armstrong had multiple sacks and I thought Fowler was very good.
-Sam Williams has to stop with these hands to the face penalties, we saw them in the preseason too.
-3 terrible penalties, 1 was on special teams that extended drives. 3 veterans no less.
-Run defense was better, but still remains this defense weakness.
-Thought the secondary played outstanding, although pass rush really helped.
-19 player drive, plus the 2 pt conversion was the only poor drive of the game. 2 TD's given up in 2 games.
-Diggs gets killed for his tackling, but made a huge stop to get the Bengals off the field.

Special Teams

-Maher made 2 FG's over 50 yards, 1 being the game winner. He has been money thus far, knock on wood.
-Turpin had a nice punt return that flipped the field.
-Semi almost blocked the punt, but did an excellent job not roughing the kicker.
I saw numerous hands to the face against Parsons s that were not called. This is bull. And other penalties against Dallas not called. In other games I saw some of the most egregious holding penalties that were so bad the ref should have been fired for not calling it. These officials suck big time.

I thought the run defense played well. Mixon only got 3 yards per on 19 rushes. Bohanna jumped out to me a couple times in the telecast

as do many OL i saw Gallimore mugged on one of parson Sacks i believe complete armbar with tug and in view of everyone NO CALL lucky we got the sack but that would have been Gallimore's sack he pushed the center of the pocket and fully was held. Blatant Uncalled. saw parson get held twice no call.

you think Tyrones doesn't hold? he knows how to hide it.so lets be clear all OL held all refs do not call all of them some call every one of them, depends on the crew. I mean last year i remember about 17 No calls of our DL being mugged mostly Gregory being held and no calls..

No reason to bring it up , AT ALL..2 games against some of the best DL he will see all year and Hes got a B+ as a rookie so far. Ill take it!

More importantly this off season would be when the decision is made to pick up the 5th year option. As of right now they probably wouldnt.
Woah . . . slow down . . He has only played a handful of games without Dak

While its true Dalton had great Success with Him . . . And Rush last year and by the looks of it . . . Lamb and Rush will have a lot of success this year.

If the Jones' allow him to leave because of the deficiencies of Dak . . . that would only be compounding the colossal mistake of paying Dak 160 million

Lamb has had the misfortune of playing with Dak and now has to produce with Rush . . .

You will see The real Lamb this year

The one who will be extended

Diggs is a gambler and his style of play killed the Cowboys yesterday! He has to quit letting the receiver get a head of him, oh I know he's always thinking of that pick, but there is a time and place for that and yesterday late in the game wasn't the time.

I thought he played a solid game, that 4th down play that they converted he was in good coverage, QB just made a perfect throw.

Very true and hopefully he reduces doing that , significantly. On the flip side, his play to get off the field on 3rd down was huge and in collaboration with the following plays on O and the Kick , helped win the game. The 4th down catch that was made, I mean he played as well as possible and looked as though he got his hand in there. Receiver made a nice grab. But I agree with you on the gambling. He’s got to play those fundamentally sound. Only week 2. , so time for him to clean up his game. I love the fact he rose up and made a key play at the end.

According to Brad Sham, Rookie LB Harper (not DLaw as officials mistakenly claimed) made the critical offside mistake that drew the yellow,
and gave Cincy new life on 4th and 4 yards.

- The only way to deal and have a chance at slowing Parsons may be to implement two TE offense on a much frequent, full time basis,
And by doing that it’s gonna take away to sacrifice something from the offenses,.. no RBs in pass game ? ..no 3 or 4 WRs ?
And he is gonna have his fair share of one on one matches, and what team has All pro bookend OTs ?
Also we’re already seeing teams chipping an RB to help the OT vs Parsons . .. that’s why it’s imperative to keep moving Parsons around to keep offenses and coaches guessing

- The 19 play drive was a sign that our defense was getting gassed out as a result of being on the field too long, too often,
It’s a downhill defense that can wear down upfront if kept on field too long,

- Diggs usually gets killed more for giving up big plays vs pass, than tackling, .the Bucs game was the only game Ive heard him be drilled for .

- Mixon only had 57 yards rushing on yrds average, I’ll take that feat .. Barkley is gonna be a bigger challenge next week, imo.

- Donovan has filled in well for Kearse,..in space, in traffic ..and he brings a physical tone, we’ll lose him in FA this offseason .
Hooker is started at FS, but i saw Izzy M. in packages - per 3 safety sub.

- Liked what I saw for Barr who is still learning the offense and packages and getting more comfort-adjusted He’ll get better as he plays
- :LVE was active for 2nd str8 game.

- Two players I most criticized actually showed up big time in this game … Noah Brown and kicker Brett Maurer – i don't we win if not for Noah’s 5 catches for 91 yards contribution.
That greatly helped opposite Lamb,

- Schultz's fumble was critical and came at a momentum when. our momentum drive was twarted and had Cincy on their heels - then later came his eventual knee sprain.

- Armstrong did show in this game with 2 sacks - I thought Fowler also showed in this game. ..almost created QB sack-strip fumble.

-Agree, that late drive was due to the offense doing very little in the 2nd half.
-Parsons is going to be the focus from opposing teams here on out, Quinn will look to scheme ways to put him into single matchups. It should also open up the rest of the Defensive Front. If teams use extra protection, coverage becomes much easier.
-Diggs could of prevented a 1st down against their TE, but missed the tackle, made up for it late.
-Donovan might be more of a hitter, but he does miss a few tackles. His style also caused a penalty.
-Clearly, Barr/Lve are now our starting linebackers which allows Parsons to focus on rushing the passer. Once Cox eventually gets promoted, he will be a nice coverage linebacker for the group. Barr made a great play to blow up a screen.
-Maher has been money thus far, let's cross our fingers he keeps it up.
-Shultz is the type of player that drives fans nuts, watching him block, then watching Furgerson, Shultz looks like the rookie. That was a huge fumble that potentially could of cost them the game. If he is out for a few weeks, it will give the team a chance to see if they can move on from him in the offseason.

I swear I thought he missed the game winner. I was so upset until I saw them celebrate. Looked like the ball drifted out. Was so exhausted after that. And once again in the second half it looked like we went to the pass to much. I did see MM in the first half looking at the play sheet and talking into the head set. Maybe playcalling by committee.
Agreed, yelled to the wife he freaking missed it! Still have not seen a good angle where it is good but I will take it!

Barr as a vet should have known to pull up and make minimal contact at most.
I thought the second one was a bad call. The QB's can't \ shouldn't be protected when they go head first and before they are clearly on the ground.

I was very happy they picked up the flag on LVE on the hit on the receiver. Even Nantz kept trying to say it was to the head but the replay clearly showed he got the shoulder and I saw no contact with the head. It was a clean hit and they got it right. That's how the system is supposed to work.

I was the same way!!! I though it was wide right (from the kickers view).
Him kicking it from the left hash and it drifting right made it look that way. It was close, but did have a margin. My seats are diagonal corner of the end-zone and that kick was on my end. I always watch the reaction of the fans in the end-zone behind the goalposts for a reaction. They were celebrating before the ball hit the net.

I liked these refs because they let the teams play. They could have called the push-off against Diggs and they could have penalized LVE for the hit on the receiver, but for the most part, they were very conservative with their penalties, which made for a more enjoyable game.

I don’t agree
That actually was a push off and should have been called
LVE Med with the shoulder and hit below the chin strap, tgat should not have been a penalty
