Yes, they have to be put on ths 53.If a club signs other clubs PS players do they not have to be used on the main starting roster? I don't believe they can just be poached for the Cowboys PS??
Yes, 3 weeks pay.You can cut the player after one week, but must pay them 3 weeks.
I also just read your can't sign your next opponent's ps players within 5 days (9 if a bye). Never knew that, but makes sense since game plans would be out.
I'm surprised the Cowboys don't sign more players from other team's practice squads.
There are 320 total practice squad players.
Was the Cowboys own PS player DT Ash really the best of 320 players?
Obviously having time in this scheme gives Ash an advantage but it just seems that the probability that the best player is 1 of your own 10 instead of 1 of 320 is unlikely.
They did sign Irving from another PS but it seems like a rare occurrance.
?Guys are usually on practice squads for a reason.
Poached like an EGG !!! Yeah they have to be on the other teams rosterIf a club signs other clubs PS players do they not have to be used on the main starting roster? I don't believe they can just be poached for the Cowboys PS??
Yes, 3 weeks pay.
PS players normally get paid about 110K per year.
Three weeks of 53 man roster pay is about 80K.
