Agree, Pollard needs to be tagged, can ill afford to lose him. He is becoming a superstar. Really would like to also keep Zeke at a reduced rate, he is a great short yardage back and can wear defenses down with his style.
Sweet...a fan that appreciates both. GOOD TO SEE!

Vikings are the hottest team in the league and we just drubbed them in their house. We have the Vikings number, beating them 3 in a row with 3 different QB's.

Offense

-Excellent job with running the football and staying with it. When you dominate the trenches, passing the football gets that much easier. Dak was terrific today, but the ground attack was dominate. This is our recipe for success. Control the clock, keep defense fresh and force teams to play catchup.

-Tony Pollard had a career day, thought Zeke played, especially on 3rd and shorts. Why has Kellen Moore waited so long to pass the football down the field to Pollard? Pollard is really looking like a special player.

-Thought OL was outstanding, not only opening up huge holes in the run game, but Dak had a clean pocket all game long.

Defense

-Very good sign as they responded from their worse defensive performance with a truly dominate game. This shows strong character and leadership.

-Pretty simple, you have to earn the right to rush the passer by playing well on the early downs. Run defense was far better, still not great, but they don't have to be.

-Pass rush was completely dominate today. Not just one player either. A statue QB like Cousins had zero chance for success. Even with Darrishaw in the game, they won the trenches. Like how Quinn moved Parsons around today.

-Props to our secondary, but a lot had to do with our pass rush today.

Special Teams

-What a BS call after the 60 yard FG. Very, very late. Karma baby, when Maher nailed it again!
Looked great in all 3 phases of the game.
Most complete game I have seen from the Boys in years.
If we can keep this level of play up, the sky is the limit.

If they are inclined to stick with the 1-2 RB punch over trying to ride Daks arm into the promised land….their chances are as good as anyones.

Question is, if the run isn't working, do they stick with it?

Agree .....I don't think a defense can shut down our run game for 60 mins. Pollard is a threat to take it to the house on any given carry and as stated, Zeke wears them down.

It’s about adjusting to being adjusted on.

Wouldn’t say they are proficient in that area, but doesn’t mean they can’t eventually stumble across the right path.

This is the deal here. Can we "follow up". "Close the deal".

Or is it yet another roller coaster ride.

This is it...this is our playoff run. Keep the pedal to the metal.
That is the deciding factor, can this team show this performance consistently.
Teams doing that this time of the year, getting into a rhythm, getting hot at the right time wins Lombardi trophies.
I Don't believe that we peaked too early, this win was a priority, and if it can manifest itself into a team coming together at this point and performing like they did vs the Vikes,
then nobody wants to face us going forward, this team can beat anyone in the league playing like that.
Thursday vs the Giants is just as important, will show if this team is a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde or not.
We role the Giants in our house Thursday afternoon, then everyone starts paying attention.
A lot of confidence was gained vs the Vikings for a lot of playmakers on the Cowboys, career days for several.
