OK, hope you live a long, long time waiting for it to happen. I have learned, Bledsoe fans for some reason don't see it, don't get it, but just keep waiting. Enough for one night. I for one, am glad he is gone, that Brady is our QB, and that our coaches just keep drafting QB's.

Got to love a poor winner. Not enough you've won three SB's with Brady. It's important enough to sign up to a Cowboys board to let us in on the secret that Bledsoe sucks, Parcells is over the hill, and Glenn is an underachiever.

Since you claim to have been a 30 year fan, you should know that the Pats were literally the laughingstock of the NFL and a distant 4th in the Boston sports scene before Parcells and Bledsoe arrived. Your season ticket base was at 25000 and you'd won 2 games the previous year. DB and BP brought that team from the outhouse to the penthouse in 4 years and you can credit them in large measure for giving Bob Kraft the financial ability to build that shiny new stadium of yours. Have a great day, troll.

I posted a few weeks ago about my thoughts of Bledsoe. None of them positive by the way. I have been watching this game of football for so long, well, it is coming into perspective.

1. Forget stats. Stats are wonderful for WHAT??? Bledsoe has great stats, but yet he will never, ever win the big one. Period. Not going to happen. Never, not ever. There is not even a single thought in my mind that he will. Pressure = fall apart. Just the guy, nothing you can do about it.

2. Everyone remembers SB wins, forget even about AFC or NFC championships. Oh, another year, all forgotten.

3. Luck has nothing to do with it. People say we are lucky to have Brady, but if you look at our draft, year end and year out we seem to draft a QB. Sometimes I would say why are you drafting this guy???? Bottom line, Brady will be gone soon enough, and the QB is the most important guy on the team -- the leader. OK Pats, keep drafting a QB.

4. Parcells is an old style coach who has entered the modern age. Bring in the old guys, the guys I know. That's enough. Well, forget it. Not going to happen. Brady would have never played under Parcells. That much I know for sure. Actually I credit Weiss with that decison. No knowledge, just a gut feeling.

As a side note, I was lucky enough to see Glenn when he was a rookie in New England. If you do not go to the games, you really do not get a feel for it. TV does not do justice. NOPE. Glenn in his rookie year was one of the most amazing WR I ever saw. He floated on air. He blew it. I really feel if his heart was in it, he could have been the best ever. I am not joking, I saw this kid, and my eyes went out. Floated, he was simply amazing as a rookie.

So, bottom line, Parcells will put you in the playoffs maybe, Bledsoe will blow it, and Glenn never reached his potential. Luck has nothing to do with it.

I write this stuff, because as a Pats fan I went through the same feelings you are having.

Parcells, for me, get out of town.

Bledsoe, please don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Glenn, oh, gee, I still would like to see you in a Pats uniform.

Luck, no way. Forget it.

Oh, and Montana was the best QB that ever played the game. Those of you posting that don't think so, you were so young you never saw the guy play. He was amazing. Simply amazing. So is Brady. Luck, no way. Draft a QB every year, and commit to play him when he shows the talent.

now I just need to find a piece of toilet paper to get this all down, so that I can make an indelible impression of it on my arse

Pats Fan: You claim that the Patriots didn't get lucky finding Brady because they draft a QB almost every year? Where are all of those other QB's now? Did their amazing QB finding "skills" fail on those other guys?

All they did was roll the dice on a QB every year, and ONE of those rolls resulted in Brady.

Brady's a good one ... I like him a lot. But put him behind the 2005 Dallas OL and people would be calling for his head.

Sorry folks, I am no bandwagon fan. 30 year season ticket holder of the Pats. You think you are going through ugly, you don't know ugly. PLEASE. We were so bad for so long and yet I renewed my tickets every year. Love of the game, and the Pats.

I stand by my comments. Firm. Bledsoe in my eyes was and is a bum. Long before he was injured I wanted that guy sitting on the bench.

If not for Bledsoe it would be the St Louis Patriots. Bite your tough!!

Also another "bum" until he was 34 was John Elway..and Dan Marino was always a bum using your analysis.

Yeah, that's one way of looking at it.

I would just as soon though look at Bledsoe's career w-l, especially against teams with winning records.

And of course over the last two years Bledsoe has had a chance to guide teams into the playoffs with one win... but what happened?

He came up small!

Funny you should ask...

It's been warm.

Virtually no snow on the ground at the moment.

Well at least my Jarv luck is consistant. No Cowboys playoff games I have to schedule around...So I want to blow off steam doing 90 mph on the 4th lake at Old Forge...and there is no snow.

Guess I'll just break out my Miricle on 34th street DVD.

This is inaccurate.
This season he could not guide Dallas into the playoffs with 1 game. He actually played quite well even through OL problems on the road against Carolina to keep the playoff hope alive.

Bledsoe has always seemed to be in tough divisions. Trying to make sense of Zaxor's always finishing last or second to last comments which on a lot levels humors me, I found he was in 3rd place with 7 to 9 wins a lot. WOW. We have some divisions where 9 wins gets in the playoffs almost every year up til now.

Sorry but laying falling 1 game short at Bledsoe's doorstep just rings quite hollow and agenda driven. As much so as calling Bledsoe better than Staubach or Aikman or Montana.

Bledsoe has gotten his team to the playoffs and he has gotten them to the SB. The second time he didn't start all season but he did play a major part in winning the championship game to get them there.

Show me a single team that got worse when Bledsoe showed up.

Was that the gut feeling that, if he could just get Bledsoe seriously injured, that this sixth round kid could lead them to a super bowl, or was it something else? I'm not sure I count being forced to start a back-up due to injury as a "decision," so maybe it was something else? Indigestion, perhaps?

Maybe Bledsoe is just not lucky, he's just never been at the right place at the right time.

Funny thing about luck. I'm personally one of the luckiest people I know. Unfortunatly most of its bad.

Luck is intangible...But I'll go with luck anytime. We are full of it in our history...Clint Longly to Peason, Roger Hail mary to Pearson...heck, even luck against us...bart Starr in the ice bowl...the non deflected pass in the 70 Colts Superbowl game...The Catch with Montana and Clark in the 81 championship game...Lynn Swanns catch's in the 75 superbowl game.

So Bledsoe is good, just not lucky. Gimme luck everytime. Don't disregard luck.

By the way, kinda take this with a grain of salt...okay.

But, then again, neither of those bums went down from a serious injury and had some unknown phenom lead them to the super bowl. Soooo, it works both ways.

I love it when a fan from another team comes to our board and instigates a fight between us.

This Pats Fan dislikes Bledsoe so much, that he has to come to another board to recruit more fans to dislike him. What did Bledsoe do so wrong while in NE. He took them to a Super Bowl - lost to a very good Green Bay team. He got hurt which opend the door for Brady and the 3 SB in 4 four years.

You would think that this guy would like Drew. Now Buffalo on the other hand, I can see way some of there fans would dislike drew. They gave up draft picks and where consistently beaten by the team that traded Drew to them. What is the Pats Fan problem?

Either way, lets stop feeding the troll........... We are Cowboys, lets get some pride about us.
