Thoughts On Brewster - SD Game

He looked very solid - good at RT during first half.

Larry English and Phillips are no slouches.

He has no business playint at LT.

There is going to be a lot of crow to be eaten if we hit on him and Young.

That could be the future right side of our OL.

I missed a lot of the first half because of an incredibly bad feed..I know Davis screwed up..who else on the Oline played poorly? seems like Romo wasn't getting good protection, but like I said, the feed was awful..I could be wrong

OL wasnt that bad in pass protection I dont think...there was one busted protection...most of it was just total lack of run game (blocking was mediocre there) and Romo not throwing the ball well at all.

The defense isnt helping them out either though...Chargers just chewing up plays and yards via run and pass...defense has been terrible IMO

great, I was under the impression the OL was far worse than that..I appreciate your feedback..makes me feel much better..

Did you watch the game,,it was aweful....the OL sucked, cowboys were not crisp, basically played like they did not give 2 cents about the game.. they are running scared from al the injuries

OL sucked?

The team overall was not sharp but the OL was far from sucking.

Pass protections was good.

Run blocking not so much.

DID YOU watch any of the game? Or any of our other preseason games up to this date. The first half Oline played the best the online has played thus far and it isnt even close. Big gaveup one play other then that romo had time and just didnt have a very good outing.

They did give him some outside help with Witten a few times, but Brewster wasn't the problem on offense. The problem is Dallas had several breakdowns against the blitz, including the blitz adjustments by the receivers.

I'm sure keeping Witten in some was one reason our offense wasn't every effective. Romo relies on him in those situations, and no one else really came through.

YEh Buddy, I watched it and am watching it now... and any blind man could plainly see, the COWBOYS are totally lacking discpline, catching the ball, fumbling the ball, and missing assignments,,,,,,,,I no its preseason,,,the score dont count but you would like to see ur starters at least perform decently and with discpline...anybody who watched the game an thought they did good are simply blind....

Plain and simple OL line sucked, no holes to run through, no protection and overall the Cowboys did not come to play..they are merely running from furthering there injury reports

Robert Brewster played good tonight. I would like to see a break down.

Babe said Leonard Davis whiffed on the LB inside blitz on Romo's pick.

I like what I saw from Brewster.
He has a wierd/bad body shape.
He looks more like a guard.
He was effective though in tonight's game.
If Young can stick at right tackle then maybe Brewster can be a future guard down the road.
I keep this kid on our roster definitely.

I feel much better about Brewster and Young behind Colombo.

Dallas better keep getting both of those guys ready to play.

Tonight was a positive step in that direction.

Both guys keep improving.

Is Romo in the hospital due to Brewster? LOL
