Don't misunderstand the nature of this post.

1. Tony Romo is better than most NFL Quarterbacks. Despite recent struggles, I'm glad he is our QB.

2. I'm for us thinking QB in the near future to prepare for our future

So, with that out of the way, let me mention 4 QB's coming out soon that I like. I'd like your feedback on these four, and also toss in someone else if I'm missing someone.

*Colt McCoy - Despite some great play from him, I actually am not THAT high on him because I think he makes some pretty bad decisions and is a little turnover prone in my opinion. But he IS mobile and can play.

*Sam Bradford - I'm not sure he can hold up to the shots he will take in the NFL, but he does seem to be a prolific passer, has a good attitude, and seems to make good decisions.

*Jake Locker - This guy is my personal favorite. Good size. Very athletic. Great thrower of the FB, and never quits. I would LOVE for the Cowboys to get this guy.

*Jimmy Clausen - Something about this guy I don't like and I can't quite figure it out. He looks a little goofy, and maybe that bothers me :), but he also seems a little fragile. But I can't deny that his play has come a LONG way this year, and having Charlie Weis will help him be ready for the NFL.

I don' have Tebow on this list because I just don't think he throws the football well enough.

:bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2::bang2:how many times do we have to see this list?!?!?!?!?!?! The only one that has even a shot at the NFL is Locker and he will be drafted way before us... and even then he is questionable.

Wow, you are telling me that you don't think McCoy, Bradford and Clausen will be drafted? And you don't think Locker has much of a chance?

I don't agree with you on either of those points if I'm understanding you correctly.

I would agree with you that McCoy, Bradford and Clausen have a great chance of flaming out, but I think Locker is a lock (no pun intended) to have a starter's career in the NFL.

I'm liking Locker a lot as well. I guess we've been on the same wavelength recently.

Here's hoping he remains under the radar (yeah right)

They are all projected 1st or 2nd rounders .

I agree. I watched him Saturday and he played a GREAT game. Big, athletic and a good thrower.

Sam Bradford is clearly the best QB on that list, hands down. The only problem I see is that he might not hold up to NFL hits, so durability is the only question I have about him.

We already have one player made of glass (Felix), so we sure as hell dont need another.

Im not hatin, Im just saying.

Hey Beast, have you seen Locker play much? If you haven't, you may want to watch him before you judge Bradford the better of the two. If you have, I'd be interested to know why you think Bradford is better. Remember that Sam is surrounded by a MUCH superior team.

I have only seen Locker play once or twice, whereas I have seen almost all of Bradford's games.

Bradford looks like a franchise QB to me. He has great arm strenght, very good accuracy, tremendous field vision, and he has excellent pocket awareness.

Durability is my only concern, I am hoping his shoulder injury was just a fluke injury. If he can stay healthy, I think Bradford could be a 10 year starter in the NFL.

I would give my left nut for us to draft Bradford and give him a couple of seasons as Romo's "understudy" before taking over the starting job.

Tebow as our QB/RB hybrid.
Buehler as our Kickoff guy/OLB hybrid.

Championship.

Odd. I was thinking exactly the same thing...

I'd give your left nut for Bradford too.

This is one of the dumbest knee-jerk posts of the week, and it's only Monday.

I like Locker a lot. I think McCoy will be a good pro, but I wouldn't be so sure we wont be in a position high enough to draft a Locker the way we are playin!

I think Romo will be around for a good minute first of all. That being said, I'd choose Colt.

We don't need a new QB. We have one. We just need a coach who can pull the greatness that I know he has, out of him.

I will not give up on Romo. It would be idiotic to do so. It would be even more idiotic to draft one of those guys on the list. They are early draft picks.

We just need a coach. There are alot of NFL QB's out there that aren't as good as Romo, winning alot of games. They have discipline and accountability instilled in them from the owner on down. We have none of that. None.

How exactly is this a knee-jerk post??? The OP asked what people thought of the QBs on the list and in my opinion, Bradford is the best.

How exactly is this a dumb post??? Apparently you have not watched the QBs play on the list since you have no opinion on the matter.

Strange respone???

As much as I want Romo gone, his contract means we are stuck with him. He's not only going to have to be bad this year, but next year as well before jerry decides it might be time to look elsewhere, so I don't think we'll have a shot at any of the guys on that list.

Despite what some others have said, I don't really think this is as good a year for QBs in the draft as everyone thinks it is. I am definitely not that high on McCoy. Tebow no way. Want no part of Snead. Claussen and Bradford I like, and I like Jake Locker a lot as well, but I also think that Stafford and Sanchez were both better than anyone in what will be the '10 draft class. Its not a given Claussen, Locker, or Bradford will all enter the draft either. I think its a good bet one or two of those guys will stay in school (especially Locker)
