1. Daks throws on the run in first half were elite.
2. Zeke looks close to being himself again.
3. Jourdan Lewis looks like a 5 year starter without having a pre-season.
4. Terrence Williams doesn't do the right thing alot of the time.
5. What does Jason Garret actually do?
6. We can all live with the Dez we saw today.
7. David Irving is awesome and then perplexing in span of few minutes. How does 6'7" 290 pound guy just bounce off a QB. How?
8. Previously said enough about Jaylon Smith.
9. Dallas wins last two games with Sean Lee in there and Dallas is 4-1. One player on defense shouldn't make that much of difference but here we are.

I had already called it; the Cowboys would not beat the Packers without Sean Lee on the field.
Our defense could barely contain Aaron Rodgers WITH Lee. Definitely couldn't without him.

People are overestimating Lee and his ability to turn losses into wins.

Remember, Lee wasn't exactly lighting it up in the Denver game. This D has more issues than missing Lee.

I believe we beat the Rams with Lee, but I have my doubts he changed much in todays game.

Did Irving bounce off a QB?

Green Bay avg 6.6 yards per running attempt. I have to believe that number was inflated without Lee on field. But I could be wrong.

Possibly.

Then again, with Rodgers they probably didn't need to run it as much as they did.

Take Kueckly away from the middle of Carolina, and they look a lot different. However our safety's are so bad, it's not even funny!

Zeke is a stud. That play to get the first where he reached was a thing of beauty from an extremely smart player. When he wants the 1st down he gets the 1st down!!!! He is really unbelievable. I thought he might score on the final play when he got the ball in fact!

Lewis is a stud.

Collins has disappeared.

And JG still sucks. Would have pulled a Marty S, or John Fox and fired the bum last year after the divisional game loss myself.

I think Garrett has the right idea in place...creating a 'program' of sorts and basing the team on quality development of skills in order to develop a better player. I also like the way he handles the media. I think that is a very overlooked aspect with coaching here.

But getting back to the first part...I do believe that this league is about the HC's ability to develop players. I think scouting is important, but greatly overvalued.

The issue is that our schematics are so simplified and predictable that we've really tested any progress we've made with developing players. Then there's the baffling decisions. I'm not even talking about the last TD as much as we had the ball at the 50 yard line with 6 seconds left and just went to the locker room instead of trying a hail mary.

And when we lose a starter to injury, we struggle to adjust.

I hate losing as much as anybody. But, I can live with the other team out executing us. I can't live with losing in the same fashion year after year, game after game. And losing due to poor strategy.

I said it earlier today in a thread, The process works during the week as far as players knowing what they have to do, where to go, etc, a routine if you will. It's the game day strategies and motivation that fails this team, and old school offense and defense.

teams look confident against Dallas after halftime. That tells me Dallas schemes are easy to figure out and teams don't feel there is much (if at all) talent gap between them & Cowboys.

You’re confusing David Irving with benson Mayowa

And I don’t think we win this game even with Lee. Last week yes this week no.

Well said. Think you just described how a lot of us feel but haven't been as able to express as eloquently.
