Thoughts on Malik Davis?

Shampkin I’ve now read hurt his ankle last pre season game got an injury settlement and waived . Wouldn’t surprise see him end up on an NFL squad .
 
Offering Zeke-level gut running will be easy. I want to see how his pass protection is though.

Argh, I see what you've done there.
Maybe, maybe not. Zeke may realize he's in the cut zone and may take a restructure to stay.

he doesn't have a lot of speed, but good feet. he will get tackled behind the LOS a lot and won't be able to get to the corner much. he is a 3rd string RB. fan favorite for sure though

Can he average more than 3.8 ypc?

I just hope Moore keeps it balanced and don’t just sprinkle runs in with a bunch of passes. Pollard can carry the rock 15 times easy. Problem maybe that they blitz a lot to see if Pollard can pick it up. Dak is really good at beating the blitz so may not be a bad thing.

Grant is on the 50 $ bill . US currency . Yards per carry is deceptive . The dude might rip off a 10-15 yard gain in one carry . Getting a Grant at the Bears pay window not out of the question if Pollard goes off gets himself a hundred Cowboys would be at 150 certainly not inconceivable at all.

Yah, it will be interesting to see what Davis can do. If Pollard goes off and Davis averages more than 3.8 ypc its going to get interesting around here.
 
Picking up the blitz is a main concern for both, but I'm very excited to see how Malik Davis runs. This is going to be a big game to look forward to, with Malik Davis and Damone Clark getting some playing time.
 
It will be refreshing to see another back. We have played the same two for years now and no one else generally even gets a shot. Being a third RB on this team is like being exiled.

Having said that my bet Zeke plays as he’s stubborn.

Seems like you're referring to just power game alone ...what about burst ?
That's what opposing teams fear the most with " Young " Zeke 2016
