I liked Shampklin better because he had more speed. While on the topic of pre season runners the kid from Harvard was it Shampklin he was next up talent wise where did he end up .

No idea. Pre-season performances don’t mean anything. We won’t know until we see him play. If he does. What are your thoughts on this young man? Looked like a young Zeke running the ball, legs didn't stop moving seems tough! Shifty runner, not sure about pass pro, and what else he may not get great at or not.
Wishing him the best, he may get a spot on this roster next season, give your thoughts!
I like how hard he runs. He has some toughness and some decent contact balance, vision and change of direction (although nothing special).
He lacks speed though and other than his physical play, not much stands out about him. I see his ceiling as a backup/rotational guy… but I’ve been wrong before.
Overall, I wanted him to stay in Dallas to be the 3rd/4th RB, which is what happened. Maybe he can surprise me though. RB is one of the positions where it is easier to kind of surprise because the OL can influence how he does and toughness and heart always come into play in the second half of NFL games.
Like Jimmy Johnson once said, “Not every player in the NFL likes contact.”
It’ll be fun to see if he gets any/many touches.
Posts like these are entertaining. No one knows how Davis is going to do, but this yahoo seems to believe he does.Emmitt was amazing in college and he was good to be a first round pick, excellent vision. The best I have ever seen.
Malik was so good in college he went undrafted.
Another yahoo who thinks he knows how a player is going to play before he even plays. Great entertainment. On a team comprised solely of JAGs, he would be a JAG!
Don't forget. The Cowboys also added Quadree Ollison. He's also interesting. Downhill guy who likes contact.

Lol, 5’9” 202, ran 4.66 “pro day” most carries coaches saw fit to give him in a season, in 5 seasons at Florida was 92. Hasn’t been used at all, after being brought up from the practice squad to replace Dowdle. JAG is probably being generous…Chrystal ball ain’t needed!Another yahoo who thinks he knows how a player is going to play before he even plays. Great entertainment.
You have no clue if he’s any good or not. Neither do I.Lol, 5’9” 202, ran 4.66 “pro day” most carries coaches saw fit to give him in a season, in 5 seasons at Florida was 92. Shared backfield.Lol, 5’9” 202, ran 4.66 “pro day” most carries coaches saw fit to give him in a season, in 5 seasons at Florida was 92. Hasn’t been used at all, after being brought up from the practice squad to replace Dowdle. JAG is probably being generous…Chrystal ball ain’t needed!
I’m going to go with the assumption that if he was, a bunch of SEC coaches would have figured it out and used him accordingly during his 5 years at Florida! You have no clue if he’s any good or not. Neither do I.
5 seasons! apparently SEC coaches didn’t think he had the talent to be a lead back in 5 seasons!Shared backfield.
2021 Gators
Dameon Pierce 100 carries (HOU 4/107)
Malik Davis 92 carries
Nay'quan Wright 76 carries
ASSuming huh.I’m going to go with the assumption that if he was, a bunch of SEC coaches would have figured it out and used him accordingly during his 5 years at Florida!
What do you not understand about a shared backfield? It's what Florida does. Dameon Pierce was there since 2018 and he had to share as well. He has over 500 yds for the Texans right now.5 seasons! apparently SEC coaches didn’t think he had the talent to be a lead back in 5 seasons!
