When he returns later this month, what would you do?

(A) Keep him, play him when he's healthy. The receiving corps is a strength of this team, so keep it that way. One never knows who would potentially go down next. Coop has been nicked up all year. Quality depth is not a bad thing.

Not enough balls for everyone though, so someone's gotta sit on gameday if Gallup plays. If not Cedrick Wilson, then who? Noah Brown?

A good problem to have. Keep Gallup, play him, and if you're not gonna re-sign him in the off-season, take the draft pick.

(B) Trade him for a player before the deadline. We could probably use more help on the DL, at safety, or OL. Are we going to get the same value back as we're giving up in Gallup? I say probably not.

(C) Trade him for a guaranteed draft pick before the deadline, one better that they would get as compensation for losing him. Not sure how I feel about this one.

Overall, I'd rather have the depth. Gallup and Dak work well together, and he knows our system. I'm staying with option A, and I think the Cowboys will as well. What say you?

My thought is: If your not a Cowboys fan or play FF you wouldn't know he was missing.

play him and go win a super bowl and tell every other team to try to stop this offense

i also take adviantage of every second i have 3 stud wr and not 1 of them is a diva who is throwing a fit or pout on the side line because they did not get enough target

He is the 50/50 receiver. He clears out for the underneath stuff. He is better than Brown or Wilson.

There are not enough balls. I keep seeing that.

Get open and Dak will find you.

DB's have to study five receivers, and two backs that catch the ball now. Two tight ends. Plus a QB who is clearly in the running for Comeback Player and Offensive MVP, and..........

Superbowl MVP. Lots to study each week for the people who are assigned to stop the pass.

Not to mention Connor McGovern slipping out of the backfield for a TD.

Everytime I see this post as threads are started about trading Gallup, I have to ask why?

Cap goes up 25 million this next year. Jaylon saved us 9 million this next year. Restructures after the Super Bowl win will give us plenty of money to resign Gallup and Schultz and Gregory.

Not to mention the defenders about to come back from injury.

How about lets get a Lombardi and let next year take care of itself?

Why get rid of a good asset if you are trying to get to and win a SB?

Same with dlaw, Collins, every player. Pretty clear we should win this weak division. But against better competition he could help us. Keeping him Cpuld not only help us win a SB but also bet us a similar draft pick only delayed a year. It's worth it as long as we are in contention.

Michael who,?

Some have been wondering if we will have the money to re-sign Gallup. I'm beginning to wonder if we're going to have the money to re-sign Wilson. He's been good here lately.

If we lose either of those guys, I hope that Simi kid turns out to be the answer. I know we can keep Brown easily, but we'll still need someone else.

Make him available for 2nd round pick at the trade deadline. Do not accept anything less. If no one wants to make an offer then keep him, use him, and then let him walk after the season and take the conditional pick in 2023.

B He will be a distraction if he doesn't get a huge share of playing time....AND, he will be taking time away from Wilson who WILL be here next year....at least, he better be. Plus, the pick can be used to fill big needs on defense.

Man. First Lawrence now Gallup. I swear I'm the only person in the world that actually watches the games. Does everyone else just read the game thread?

Keep a strength a strength. If Gallup leaves the team still gets a comp pick. If you're pushing your chips all in on this season you not trading good players.
yeah... at the bottom of the 3rd round way out in April 2023.

I think a team might offer a 1st if it's a late first. I just hope it's not Green Bay because GB is short on receivers after Adams and they're pretty much all in this year with AR and Adams likely leaving after this year.

I’d be open to trading him for a player if that player could help make the team better. But I’m pretty firmly in the camp that you keep him, feeling confident that it will help offset the injuries that invariably happen.
