As some may of read my post this week about this game being a so called house money game as they were expected to lose. I did believe this had the makings of a blowout, unless they turned it into a shootout and got a few bounces their way on defense/special teams. Problem is, the offense stunk it up and they don't have the excuses the defense has with all the injured starters.

Lack of offensive production falls directly on our HC who calls the plays and our high-paid offensive stars in Dak, Lamb, who both were part of the problem. We have seen 6 games that tells us this team isn't going back to the playoffs this year, where it is clearly evident that changes are necessary now, looking towards the future.

With the bye week here, perfect time to shake things up from the staff and personnel. Things that I would do starting tomorrow:

-Fire MM and replace him with Zimmer for the rest of the season. Promote Al Harris to DC.
-Install Brian Scotteheimer as the new playcaller. Give him the power to make necessary changes to personnel and staff.
-Start taking calls for Zach Martin, DLaw, Cooks, Kendricks, Wilson, veteran players who aren't apart of their long-term future. Obtain as much draft capital as possible.
-Release Zeke Elliot, this is a business not keeping players you like personally.
-Use the rest of the regular season to evaluate the talent and remaining coaching staff.

It reminds me of the movie Major League. An owner that sabotages their team in order to get it moved.
scary thing is this was really the best jerry and stephen can do and they actully think this is a super bowl winning roster + coaching staff

that is why we need to root for cowboys to keep losing by 40 that is the only chance they have to wake up

We are stuck with the current clown locker for the foreseeable future Im Dallas afraid. Contracts have locked us in and it is looking very very ugly.
Dallas can opt out of Daks contract after 2025.

I agree with you completely. This team is not a playoff team so it’s time to suck it up and make changes.

While I understand the logic of your suggestion, it won't work. Jerry is a textbook narcissist. That means in his mind it's NEVER his fault. He will always have an excuse ready. And why should he make changes? People keep filling the seats and handing him oodles of cash. He gets the best of both worlds. He gets to meddle and toy with the team without a lick of accountability.

It was exactly what I thought was going to happen. Glad we did not play Bland for absolutely no reason.

They wont draft a 1st rd QB because of a failed overpayment to the current one. The negative impact of that poor FO decision will cripple the team's next 4 years outlook for success.

I mean, they could still draft one.
But they won't.

Sad times are upon us.

Our Division sucks. We could easily still make the playoffs. I would prefer a top 10 pick myself.

Any chance we can trade Dak to the Steelers next year? Tomlin went out of his way to over compliment Dak after we beat them.
