...well, at least for one week anyway.

First, I've been hard on Fergie this season, but he's pretty consistent, and he fights for every yard. I applaud him for his tenacity, and dependability.

Second, I've always appreciated Javonte's effort and production this season, but thought he was "replaceable" with another RB in the offseason, if the Salary Cap had to have a casualty. But I may be wrong. He might just be the engine that the Cowboys need for consistent success. And he would have more TDs if Schotty would simply run the ball more inside the 5. Inside the 5, it should mostly be run formations with Loepke, and then, if you are going to pass, let it be a play-action to a RB or TE. Schotty, stop trying to be clever!

Last, the Dallas defense shut out the Eagles in the 2nd half. Impressive. So, as hard as I've been on Eberflus, I have to applaud the adjustments made and the effectiveness of controlling the Eagles' offense. I still believe that the early game defensive playcalling is not effective, and doesn't allow the defense to come out trying to set an aggressive tone. The Dallas defense readily gives up 1st downs to ALL QBs in the 1st quarter...almost like they're playing afraid to give up a big play. So instead, they rarely MAKE a big play, early. But, on this day, let me just give Eb some props, and let's see if he can get this defense to control Mahomes, Rice, and Kelce next week.

So, 3 mea culpas in one week...what a difference a win makes.

:flagwave:
