1. 3rd and 2 at NYG 38 (Shotgun) T.Romo pass incomplete short left to M.Bennett.
First series of the game. We were driving the ball well and had already converted a long 3rd down. Bennett drops a ball that hits him in the numbers. That was our chance to immediately quiet the crowd and take control of the game early.
2. 1st and 10 at NYG 42(No Huddle, Shotgun) K.Boss left tackle to DAL 42 for 16 yards (O.Scandrick).
The score was 10-0 here, and we had all the momentum. Carpenter had a sure sack but couldn't get him down before Eli was able to flip the ball to Boss for 16 yards. This entire drive was so frustrating, but this play took the cake.
3. 2nd and 3 at DAL 47 M.Barber right tackle to DAL 46 for -1 yards (C.Brown, M.Kiwanuka).
The score was 17-21, and we had the ball at midfield. With 2nd and 3 at midfield, I liked our chances to continue moving the ball. But like all game, Marion Barber was a serious drive killer at times. He just doesn't seem to hit the hole like he used to. He's been dancing too much in the backfield. This was just another example.
It's the little things that are so frustrating. When we do an excellent job of getting in the right position, we just can't finish the play.
