Washington played a good game like expected.

Maybe we needed a game like this. We really had our way on the road against Philly and NY. We answered big in gut-check time today. As rough as it is for a fan to sit through a game like this, the Cowboys were challenged to show character today - and they did.

Now the defense? Please wake up by Thursday, guys. Please.

As much as there were some ugly things in the game. It was a win and the OP Title says it all. WE TOOK CARE OF BUSINESS! We aren't getting any help with all the other NFC East teams winning, BUT WE ARE TAKING CARE OF BUSINESS in our own division.

Not enough attention to this fact going on. We won 3 divisional games in a row, 2 of them on the road.

I'll post in other threads the things we need to improve on, but we can't complain about these end results.

How long has it been since we have been in this good a position 10 games in. Possibly never! In particular, we haven't been taking care of our own business like this since 1995 though.

Sure there are areas to improve, but we are beating some decent teams over last 3 weeks, not kicking the dead! The NFC is truly the division of the NFC.

GreenBay is the next one for home field and bye!

Good post though, and somehow overlooked everywhere after this game. I mean I know it's good to raise the bar and expectations with this team finally, but sheesh, this is a big accomplishment and pretty darn key in the long term scheme of things!
