Need throw deep ball MINIMUM of 4-5 times a game. I’m talking 35-40 yard passes. I don’t care if receiver covered - get 1/1 matchup and launch it. Either Moore/coaches too stupid to understand this or dak scared and won’t throw but needs be MANDATORY. Worse case intercepted like punt. Maybe you get couple pi calls. Also NO MORE WR screens!!!!!! We can’t execute and block well enough.

Does those WR screens ever work? I agree get it down the field so we can get some PI called our way instead of against us.

I mean in order to throw deep you need to be confident that the protection will hold up and they simply were not confident that it would happen (with good reason based on how things were going). When you have better receivers than protection the solution is quick throws. When you have better protection than receivers you can take longer to throw and give them more time to get open and by extension throw it deep more. Dallas does not have a good OLine right now so they are the former and not the latter.

PI calls are out of control. If the ball is landing anywhere near the receiver with any kid of contact then the chances of getting the call are high. Throwing down field will also open up some of the screens and underneath passes. Arizona was playing the underneath passes and either batting them back or nearly picking them.

They were disguising coverages on him. It always freaks him out and he can’t read them fast enough. He will only go deep on free plays. That and every big play we have is called back for holding. They called Shultz and he had his hands inside the shoulder pads. No calls on D-Law that was so obvious. Then getting a fumble call wrong. How many times did we run the ball. Like 12. Never even tried.

Excuses. Dak had plenty of time to throw. Replays exposed how he would routinely bail from the pocket as a receiver was breaking wide open on deep slants and crossing patterns. This Dak doesn’t have protection is such a weak and pathetic excuse for top paid QB. You’re just making the argument that he can’t elevate his team.

He lacks anticipation and wants the receiver to be open before releasing the football. Before his fumble, you can clearly see Wilson open with a pocket but Dak missed the window and took off. NFL QBs get long protection when they feel the rush and are able to move around the pocket. Dak constantly runs into pressure because he panics.

We need to pin a "Dak Sucks" thread at the top of the board and just direct all the posts about "Dak Sucks" there. That would make more sense that having 185 threads saying the same thing over and over and over and over and over and over and over again.

I 100% agree with this sir. You have to open up the airspace between 14 and 25 yards , and the way to do that is to go deep causing the safeties to back up. And I 100% agree that Dak is either too conservative to consistently go deep, or they don't call deep plays or both.

That's not what lost them the game in the end though.

Bravo agree 1000%!

The question is why is Dak afraid to do so?

People don' want to give teams credit sometimes. They played the smarter game, and we came up short because they had one key weapon that annoyed our defense, and that's Kyler Murray and his legs.

Anyone else notice Copper on outside routes jogging? I saw it a couple of times.

teams have been scheming to take it away. are inability to attack the middle and run the ball has been our problem.
Can’t run when teams not scared you pass. They know you throwing short anyway. Roll out dak. Launch it. He’s gotta plenty enough time thrown deep. He either refusing or not calling right routes. Regardless can’t win without doing it.
