You're 100% right we did win with Jerry but Jimmy built the team and was allowed the latitude to do what he wanted in that regard.

Now that Jerry's building the team we always have some substandard coach that caters to Jerry's ego.
And he flat out keeps us a few players away from being able to compete.

Jerry is 80+...he is not "building" anything. When he was doing all the work, you could tell. See the 1994 through 2002 drafts. No, ever since Parcells revamped our scouting department, locker room and other football processes - which yes, some have changed, but he laid the structure - Jerry has moved further away from day-to-day football operations. Yes, he does meddle...but again...we are back at the Jimmy years then.

So, yes...blaming Jerry as if he is sabotaging the team is just lazy. Lots of teams have not won and don't have Jerry. We won before with Jerry. Does Jerry require a head coach with balls and chutzpah and smarts? Yes...but it's not like those people are not available. Same with our QB choices. Our teams have been LOADED...even haters acknowledge this. So then...a different QB doesn't win because Jerry's watching? Poppycock.

Again...lazy, uninteresting and nihilistic. If that's the case, why not quit watching until Jerry dies?

Totally disagree. If Dak wins a SB everyone will love him.

Think hes a average to below average QB in this league. If we win I'm assuming our defense played like the 2001 Ravens down the stretch. If Dak just doesn't lose us the games like he has in seasons past I think our chances increase.

What these Dak homers don't understand is that most of us posting here are Cowboy fans. I say most because there is one for sure I've ignored and a few other that are Eagle fans on this board, but most here don't hate Dak, we just realize what he is. A very, very average QB who never shows up in playoff games. If he wins a SB and plays well doing it, I'll be the first to show my love and support for him. What I've seen out of him during his career though provides no proof that he can come close to winning a playoff game against a good defense.

It's very easy to make it make sense the man's method has made his franchise the most valuable in all of sports that is his priority.
A super bowl and the trinkets that go with it mean nothing to him at this point he has wealth beyond what you could ever imagine and that's what motivates him more wealth for him and his family.

He just waves the carrot in front of us fans telling us whatever he thinks we want to hear like he's going all in and laughs all the way to the bank.
