Throwbacks vs the giants

My wife tried to buy me a silver Cowboys alternate jersey because she thought it looked sharp. It looked like something a pimp would wear. I wound up buying the classic white jersey instead.

I'm sorry friend, I agree with you on the silver but i was vouching for an actual gameworn uniform.

Sonnyboy, I agree with the latter part of your post. The home white and road blue are both perfect. That being said, an occassional game in the throwbacks is okay. I actually think the navy blue and white is kind of sharp, but it wouldn't hurt if they lightened the throwback blue a little bit.

on nfl network they showed footage of TO sitting in his locker messin around w/ his phone and there was a throwback helmet behind him, im guessing this means we'll be wearing them on monday.

I believe they practice in whites sometimes

I don't think we're wearing the throwbacks monday night.I heard we're only wearing them twice this year,thanksgiving against Tampa Bay,and christmas day against Philadelphia.

what would make them better:
*make the socks solid blue and not striped... looks terrible.
*wear our regular helmets with them.. not that white with a star crap on it... looks like a toy helmet I would buy for my daughter (if I had one)

I wish we were not wearing those uni's. I don't mind so much on Thanksgiving Day. But we always seem to fall short in games when we were our throwbacks. Sigh!

I like our current throwbacks. Clean and classic. Our silver helmet would look awful with those throwbacks. Silver on flat white and navy wouldn't match. I like clean uniforms. That's why I love Texas Longhorns all whites and Penn State's all whites. I do agree with the solid navy socks being an improvement though. I like the helmets and plain blue star.

I hate the '94 double star throwback. The stars are too gaudy. That and all it does is remind me of our loss to San Fran.

I'm not crazy about the throwbacks, either. I actually liked those 1994 ones we wore against the Lions... IIRC they were closer to the "real" original jerseys. At least they were royal blue and not navy.

But you know, I was going to say that we should wear the white version of the current throwbacks for once... But I couldn't even find a picture of them online. I wonder if they've been discontinued.

Wait, here it is... Didn't look in the customized department.

Maybe this would let us wear the throwbacks and white at home at the same time.

I dont know why everyone hates these jerseys. They are the most beautiful things I have ever seen. I will agree on the helmets though. Those are kinda gawdy but the jerseys with the outlined star on each shoulder..........Priceless.
