Recruiting and drafting aren't even related. Success perpetuates strong recruiting, it has nothing to do with drafting.

so, well, it's the same thing in different terms. outcome is not totally different. recruiting on the sub-level Vs Drafting on the other. Tomato tomato on the other.

this is another ridiculous post..DRAFT PICKS DONT GUARANTEE SUCCESS..many high draft pics are straight busts , many new coaches are worse then the old one..

If you have a chance to win you play to win.. the sanctity of sports is you play every game to win and no tanking or losing on purpose..throwing games is a terrible look for Sports...

it odd I see teams like Miami, Cinci, NYG, NYJ, and Washington playing hard and playing to win, not for higher draft picks..sure they are already picking high but they arent laying down nor should they, you cant allow a team to win that may effect anothers teams chance at going further..its not right and never will be..

new players and coaches dont guarantee wins so win a division and get to the playoffs when you can...the opportunity is this week win and you make the playoffs, you WIN!!

maybe we lose because we arent good enough, thats fine..it will be settled on the field.

It doesnt matter what we think or want cowboys to do, they will do whatever on their own.
They might win they might lose, it will be interesting game as it is like a playoff game.
It is up to them and ol JG and staff, so I will just watch and roll with whatever happens.

I see the op's point though, but no team would tank if they have a decent shot at playoffs.
If your a fan and want them to lose, I understand that too. but sadly we have no control over that.

I don't think it's meaningless. Our coaches beat *two* great coordinators. We saw proof of what a lot of people have been saying all year - we have the players to be a very good team if they're used properly.

Based on contracts, this is the year to try to make a run. Based on health, this is the year. Maybe new guys are in authority. Maybe they've just finally learned something new. Maybe coaching has gotten unstupid. It's always been possible. Maybe it has happened.

Hard to see us winning a SB with Garrett doing gameday management. But we can play. And evaluating our current coaching staff, and players, is worthwhile for the future.

Whatever they did with coaching against the Rams, let's see more of it, and see how it works.

If you're asking me to make a wager, I wouldn't even do that if I was a Ravens or 49ers fan. I don't bet on things that are out of my control........But I am going to root for them to go as far as possible in the playoffs, even if it means a difference of 15 spots in the draft.
