Don't want to win this one its meaningless. The outcome would change our draft in every round huge.

Huge? You mean about 7 to 8 spots huge? Ending the season at 8-8 and not making the playoffs is probably the worst case scenario, and you're hoping for it. Once you get past the top ten the draft is a crap shoot. There are a lot of good players in the first 2-3 rounds. I'm more worried about who Dallas drafts, not when they draft. Dallas drafted Taco and Hill while better choices were on the board. Especially in the 2nd round of last year's draft. Picks like that do a lot more damage than a few draft spots.

I agree that the Cowboys most likely do not go to the SB or very far into the playoffs. But this team, unlike many other 8-8 or 9-7 teams are good enough to do so if they play to their talent level. These Cowboys aren't the '96, '03 or '06 Cowboys where you knew their limitations. Even at their best we all knew they weren't going anywhere. As pathetic as this year's Dallas team has looked on numerous occasions this year, they still have a shot if they are playing their best game.

The only reason we are in this spot is because the Eagles are as unfinished and beat up as we are. I don't want to win the "Unfinished Bowl" and have lesser position to acquire better talent next year. Sorry, you may throw your rock now.

It will not change that many spots. Well maybe 7 but not 8 or 9. Unless we win the WC playoff game. Which I would much rather do.

Even at 7-9, the best we will be lucky to do is 14th, but that is even doubtful. We would be more like 16th at best.
Too many 5-9 and 6-8 teams play each other, and some of those tams as others plays teams they will most likely lose to anyway. We are not going to jump a lot of teams to get a higher pick.
Give me a playoff game and so be it we pick 5 spots later. The mid level players in most drafts, there is not that big of a drop off.

Why would you guys see The NFC East as gold? They are 7-7 for God's sake. wake up!

The Giants won the Super Bowl going into the playoffs as a 9-7 wild card team. I'm a competitive person, and I believe competitive people (and teams) have the ability to overcome obstacles. Hell, that's really the definition of athletic competition. As such, it doesn't make sense to give up.
