Thumbs up:
T WILLIAMS - consistently getting open
OLine - starter that is, that unit with Leary plays with an attitude
Wilcox - just flying around and nice PBU
Our commitment to the run
Escobar - won't have huge number, but can you say red zone threat?
Romo - looked comfy and sharp

Thumbs down:
ST - JUST AWFUL, please find our bill bates
Defensive continuity
Pass rush from starters

THUMBS DOWN:

1. Jason Garrett: sloppy mistakes all over the team, that's on him.
2. Webb: How can this guy stick around this long when we cut Josh Thomas ASAP a few years ago. Thomas was much more physical and competent.
3. 2nd team Oline: Parnell and Weems are the definition of scrubs. Interior oline wasn't much better.

Good observation, Jason Garrett and the team preparation was my biggest thumbs down from this game......the Team looked tired, out of sync and not prepared mentally or physically for the game....... maybe it was the adjusting to the time and travel back to Dallas....but the whole team just looked slow and tired....no will to play

Thumbs up:
we're running the ball efficiently

Thumbs Down:
still running on almost every single first down (with the starting offense). It doesn't get more predictable then us running on 1st down, at this point.

And that's another thing. The Cowboys dominated that first quarter and they still were losing. That sounded familiar.

On the other hand the first string OL looked good and the first string offense looked pretty good other than the fumble. The first string defense played better but the Ravens offense was out of sync after waiting so long to play. The backup defense was awful but the ones that played in the 4th quarter showed some fight. All in all it was better than last week but there is still room for improvement.

Thumbs up:
-Play calling was on point.
-Ryan Williams looks far better than Randle.
-Room is still Romo.
-Escobar looks like a legit receiving threat.

Thumbs down:
-Special teams were dreadful. Good thing we have a few weeks to work on it.
-Linebackers were non existent most of the game. Any tackles they made were 5-10 yards down field.
-Wilcox took a bad angle which resulted in a huge pass play. If this is a consistent issue, opposing quarterbacks will expose him. Love his aggressiveness though.

Optimist View:
The first team defense showed significant improvement from last week. As starters continue to come back from injury, this trend will continue. Remember, Melton didn't play. Coaches will figure out the best DL rotation in the next few weeks which will help as well.

First team offense is this teams strength and will hopefully control the clock to keep the defense off the field. Big plays will be a double edged sword for this team.

On a side note, how did our 1st round pick look out there? Didn't notice him, which I suppose is a good thing.

I thought Martin struggled too good call. That was disappointing

who are your thumbs up?

Selvie- I'm still surprised how stout he is against the run.
Escobar- You throw the ball to him, he catches it. Simple as that.
Wilcox- He's coming along slowly but I appreciate his physicality.
