Thurs. Practice Recap: Another RB Down With Randle Out; DT Carted Off

Umm. Lets don't start this again. So we have more injuries than other teams or do I just hear about ours.

Nah, we just don't really pay that much attention to other teams. As stated above, the Eagles lost the rookie they had pegged to be their starting slot CB to an ACL tear. The starting ILB they traded McCoy for (Kiko Alonso) has been out with a concussion. Murray has missed a few practices due to not having his hydration levels (according to their sports science) at the right level and then another day out because of "sickness".

Everyone gets these types of injuries.

I've noticed Ron Leary has returned from his sore back pretty quickly -- could it be he's a bit concerned about leaving La'el to take his place too long, thinking he might look too good and pose a threat to bench him? Gotta consider that to be a distinct possibility. Definitely wouldn't say as I blame him though . . . lol.

One report said it was just back spasms.

My advice, don't take the bait and get sucked into another meaningless argument.

What day is this? Why are we reading a Thursday practice recap today? Did these injuries happen last week?

It's up to the individual to determine what he/she should respond to.

This is not directed to you so don't take it personally, but this is a discussion forum. Sometimes, people need several "sessions" of venting to get things off their chests.

If people don't want to hear/read the venting, either don't open the thread or bypass the comments once you discern the person is venting.

No one is forcing anyone to respond to a post.

Second, I don't pay attention necessarily to when an injury occurred because I don't pay attention to everything that happens at training camp every day. So, the news that Randle was/is injured is, well, news to me. I don't/didn't know if it happened yesterday or last week.

Therefore, this thread provided more information than I had before I read it.

That's really my point. :)

Let's not start this again means let's not start the injuries for the Cowboys. You know because we've had a lot of injuries in the past.

Sorry that was so confusing to you.

Ooohh, you meant "Please, let's not start getting injuries."

I see said the blind man. :)

Sorry, I misunderstood your post.

:clap:That was our simplest and most productive exchange yet!! I think we are making progress.

I feel better.............anyone else? ;)

Randle has been the Cowboys’ most productive runner this camp, handling the bulk of the reps for the first-team and oftentimes with the second unit.

  • Defensive tackle Chris Whaley had to be carted off the field with an apparent ankle injury. Whaley, who missed all of last season with a knee injury that kept him on Reserve/NFI (Non-Football Injury). Whaley has been working at both the 3-technique and 1-technque spots on the defensive line.
  • While Randle dealt with an injury setback on Monday, another of the Cowboys’ ball carriers had some positive news. Lance Dunbar said he plans to work on cutting with his injured ankle on Tuesday. It’s been five days since he tweaked it, and he hasn’t been able to practice since. Don’t expect to see Dunbar play against San Diego, but he said he’s hopeful he’ll be able to practice next week

I focused on Whaley in the Blue/White scrimmage. The camera angle was not that good and was zoomed out a bit too much to really see exactly how much push/penetration he was getting, but he was definitely holding his own and he moves around fluidly for a guy that looks really thick.

I had that once, just before getting married -- the doc said it was due to nerves. Pretty sure he was right.

I imagine that prognisis could either apply here, it's physically related or perhaps some of both.

Anyhow, it's not generally considered anything serious and that's always good to hear.

That puts a damper on the honeymoon...

I thought Murray was the injury prone RB?
Seems the current ones are more injury prone than murray.
