Win or lose, the Titans season rests on beating the Jags week 18.

So they will be resting guys who are hurt or banged up. They will always want to win, of course. But they will have an eye on the following week.

Cowboys should win this game by double digits, bad weather or not
Who said they were resting players?

Nobody

But for the Titans this means as much as the last preseason game. So it would make sense to take it easy on guys hurt or beat up so they are ready for Jacksonville.

I do admit it runs against Vrabel's personality. We will see Thursday

Weather looks pretty good so far. I’ll be at the game with my 11 year old. The wife acts like there should be a limit on beer because I have to be “responsible” for my boy.

I object on principle.

Good game for the Cowboys to keep building. Also, with the Thursday game the guys will get a couple days rest before preparing for WAS, and some guys could see some rest or a short day vs the Commodes.

The Titans need to build some momentum entering the Jaguar game, especially with a backup QB. They need to play well against the Cowboys, so I’m sure they’ll be up for the game.

I believe wholeheartedly the Titans will fight hard to win Thursday.

Won’t it help them even more to win both?

Both teams can play to win...with their backups. Rest is more important.

Cowboys should rest anybody that's injured or worn out too... And continue the tryouts for CB... And experiment with that defense,,, something has to change.

Titans are already toast IMO.
Tennessee on a 5-game losing streak, that includes a home defeat by Jacksonville - with Tannehill as QB and Henry getting 121 yards - but gave up 29 unanswered points until the 4th qtr.
Jaguars play Texans on the road New Year's Day, then host Titans in the season finale a week later.
I predict JAX get the win @ HOU, then beats TEN just as bad as DAL to wrap up the AFC South.
