Ticket Pricing For Cowboys Stadium

I think even the cheap seats will be worth it just to sit in the new Mecca of sports stadiums.

This place will be to Texas Stadium what a Mercedes S600 is to a Geo Metro.

so far i am encouraged by these prices...now i have to wait and see what
seats they say correspond to what i had....
the loge level seats would be great but the wife hates heights so i will
be somewhere in the corner end zone

I have a question about pricing. They said that they would call people on the waiting list later in the year after all current season ticket holders have had a chance to purchase tickets. They also said when they call you, you have to decide immediately whether to take the tickets or not. That will be later this summer some time.

I would assume you pay for the seat option then(if applicable), but when would you pay for the season tickets for 2009? At the same time this summer or next spring some time?

It seems odd to pay for season tickets over a year in advance.

Invoices for the tickets themselves go out in February or March.

Some of the seats will not be as expensive as I thought and that is good for ordinary people. I could afford some if I wanted to go to any games but I no longer want to go to games, I would rather watch them at home.

Really? I am pretty sure it belongs to the city of irving.

The City of Irving owns the stadium...When the new stadium deal was made, they made Jerry pay to have the stadium painted in keeping with the contract. There was a cluase that Irving had not inforced to that time.

All Jerry purchased was the lease to the stadium.

I currently have been allocated sec 428 with a $4,000 seat license, the rows sections below me are the same price!!!

Needless to say I'll be trying to downgrade to the $59 nose bleeds:(

I'm currently in sec 101 and my ticket rep finally called me back and told me. By the way they went on sale Friday, I had to put $1,000 to keep my place in line. My guess is they will place you in Sec 405 for $59.

One more year!!!:starspin

Arn't there 15,000 more seats in the new stadium? (Not counting the room for another 20K after that) Do you think the entire 80K will be sold as season tickets?

Hey thanks for the update. I havent received that stuff in the mail yet. I was placed in 409. I have absolutely zero interest in those seats. I could never take the heights.

I am hoping I can get something lower still. i was told you get two more areas that you can possibly buy seats in. I am going to call tomorrow morning first thing.

I am going to be devastated if I am not a season ticket holder anymore! Its why I moved here. I feel kind of numb right now.

anyway, thanks for the info and the link.

Only 50,000 are in the $59 section, the rest come with a hefty Option tag..:D
