Matt Mosely reported it on on espn radio Thurday, but who would of knew with all this Pacman talk.

June 1st cut Williams if he hasn't progressed and move Hamlin to SS and Henry to FS but it has to be done early.

No way. The cap penalty would be outrageous, plus we have no idea if Pacman will keep his nose clean, or if Mike Jenkins will be a player.

We might as well keep Roy and enjoy the depth at cornerback.

Been sleeping late, have we?

The Roy cap hit has been debunked numerous times. If the team wanted to cut Roy, they could've a long time ago. They're not going to...at least not for this season, so THAT's what people need to accept.

Having a good day in OTA doesn't mean the team should make a rash roster decision.

Jerk that seatbelt up tight folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

The only thing I conclude is that we are trying to put all of our CBs on the field for obvious passing downs. Say goodbye to Roy on 3rd and long.

I'll be glad when he's gone just so we can't stop the discussion once and for all. Sort of like the Quincy discussions.

I don't always agree with Vela's analysis but the David Fulcher comparison was a pretty good one. I recall Fulcher however, being a bigger hitter than our current version of Roy.

Why can't we just enjoy the fact that Henry kicked butt at safety, instead of turning this into a Roy bashing thread?

I think the Henry/Hamlin safety combo could be a very nice one.

But I'm willing to give Roy one more chance. If he doesn't turn it around in the first quarter of the season, than he never will. If he can't get it through his head and bust his arse this off-season, then he won't.

Look, I'm fine with Roy being suspect in coverage as long as he is wrecking stuff and changing games with his hits and plays in the backfield. Violent hits have a positive effect that can outweigh his suspect coverage. But for some reason or another, he has seemed to have lost his ability to make a big play. It seems the only thing he does anymore is get ankle tackles or horsecollars. His angles of pursuit are off, so he isn't meeting anyone head on with a good head of steam. If he just would fix whatever happened to him in that part of his game, I'm fine with his weak coverage. But he can't be weak in coverage and just be a chasing arm tackler. If that's all he can bring to the table, we'd be better off with Hamlin at SS and Henry at FS.

The question I have is were they against Bartel/Johnson or Romo. Makes a world of difference to me.

If it's against Bartel again, we may need to re-think his position here in Dallas.

I have no problem with that at all. We have the CB depth, why not use it?

I have said before that teams play so much 3 and 4 WR sets that a Nickel or Dime is going to become more and more a base D.

Was this with Pac-man lining up as CB with the first team?

Seriously... Whatever is best for the team, you gotta do it...

I know this though, with us having a couple new corners on the team, and Henry tearing it up at safety, Hamlin could actually be in trouble (because of his Money situation), I pray not, but who knows what goes through the minds of the Front Office.

Back to the original post...

Yes, Mosley said he ran into a Cowboys DB (whom he wouldn't name) at the grocery store, and the team was getting a big chuckle out of the "big news" that Pacman had two OTA interceptions...

Especially when Henry had three.

Thought about posting that yesterday, but decided I'd spend my time bashing Parcells instead.

That was a joke, fellas.
