There could conceivably be three rematches on wild card weekend from week 17

NYJ/CIN
GB/ARI
DAL/PHI

I don't remember that many occurring before.

its really crazy that it could happen like that.

That would be pretty wild.

Green Bay all but has the 5th spot locked up.

We're battling for either the division, or the 6th seed against another NFCE club.

I know that but I was showing the info in regards to the NFC East... I found it interesting...

If Philly wins the games prior to our matchup and NY wins out, we're SOL if we don't beat NO. We HAVE to beat NO or there's a damn good chance we aren't getting in no matter what we do in week 17.

This is true and it sucks. But it's really not that likely that it plays out that way.

I think probability of the eagles winning their next two games is only a little higher than the possibility of dropping one.

The Giants odds of winning out are less than our odds of beating NO.

why do you think that?

The Giants seem to matchup well with Washington and have beaten them the last 5 meetings.

Carolina has been playing good lately but they're still only 5-8

Minnesota will be resting players especially Lord Favre.

Exactly. The Giants have a very good chance of winning out. We basically have to win out and I'm not thinking that's likely at all.

After further crystal-balling...this is my final answer (of the day.)

My major gamble is picking Detroit to beat Arizona. It doesn't have that much of an effect on Dallas' playoff hopes, but does in who they play. This is my dream scenario, seeing as how I hate the Giants and think that Dallas beats them for sure, and sweetly in the first round of the playoffs...Ah, nothing like dreaming before I even fall asleep tonight, right!?
