Tiger arrested on DUI charge

I feel bad for the guy. He carried the sport for a decade +.

I, for one, hope he can get things back on track and come back to the Tour. Golf is better with Tiger in it. But with his constant back problems, as well as personal demons he obviously has, it's not looking good.

Who is this tiger person? Rumor has it he use to have a decent golf game. Must have been awhile ago. :muttley:

He says alcohol wasn't involved, I'm not familiar with how the law interprets things...he claims it was a bad reaction to medicine, I'm not believing that, I read the officer smelled alcohol.

Smooth move by him not perform a breathalyzer. The point being that he can claim that it was due to his mixing prescription drugs due to back injury and that will work on the low information folks. We however, know that anyone who's had 4 back surgeries and other acl related surgeries knows when and how to take his meds.

Look, I enjoy taking 2 Vicodans and a 6-pack as much as the next guy but when multi-millionaires are too arrogant to take a paid ride from someone they already have on retainer its just ridiculous. He was liquored up and came from a tryst behind a 7-11 with a ho and got caught.

What does driving under the influence mean, it doesn't necessarily mean alcohol or illegal drugs? I'm assuming it could even include prescription drugs, especially if it has a warning label...I'm not buying any of it...but rich celebrities get off all the time...just hopefully he learns before someone gets hurt.

I stand corrected on the Liquor aspect but on the bright side he didn't have to tell the arresting officer that he was a taxpayer and that he was paying the officers salary because the Tiger Woods Foundation shelters him from paying any tax at all. Always a silver lining

"Driving Under the Influence" can mean anything that impairs your driving which is why the changed the wording from Intoxicated to Influenced.

Want to walk that back some now that details have actually come out instead of being in overreaction mafia?

He did more than carry it.

He made it cool for young kids, teenagers and young adults... heck everyone except the old guys.

That's moving mountains stuff right there.

I hope he can come back later in life and win something big.

Yeah, they're called Congressmen

Thanks for the promotion. I've seen people of all status in my job. NASCAR drivers,CEO's of major corporations that you probably go to weekly.
Tiger showed his predisposition to substance abuse when his ambien use came to the for front of the news in 2008.

As a golfer, he's finished. I hope for his sake however, he can straighten the game of life out.

Given the description of his car, he had already lost control of the vehicle before they found him. Liquor or not, he could have killed somebody just the same. I'm not sympathetic to someone who gets behind the wheel of a car when they're impaired..... by anything.
