I've been a fan of his, so best of luck. Watched something earlier that said his arm impressed them some. There will be a team take a chance. What do they have to lose? If it happened to work out they would get good draw and sell some jerseys.

People's responses to this development will be more of a statement about themselves than Tim Tebow.

Seems like he could make a lot of money doing...idk, something not playing sports. Speaking engagements, become a televangelist, etc.

You'd think some Florida Alum would have hired him to be an exec VP or something. But guys like Tebow are used to being in the spotlight. Probably feels he has something to prove.

Just saw an update on his recent workout. Scouts aren't real impressed. He'll have to accepta ggig in the minors or not play at all.

I watched it, nothing special at all. I could have gone out there now at 45 and performed better.

Dunno why he didn't want to convert to FB/TE to stick in the NFL, but is trying out in another sport? Pride?

IMO could of had a longer sports career with the move. Oh well, best of luck to him.

Edit, just read the Bucs wanted him at H-back, presumably in 2013.

I believe pride may be the culprit. I bet you if he'd had a wife and kids his *** would be playing TE of fullback somewhere.

Seen an interesting tweet earlier today that basically said...Tebow would consider playing minor league ball in order to better himself in hopes to move up to major league ball...but has not been willing to play in the CFL or other Football leagues (arena) in order to better himself in hopes of moving up to the NFL.

Well, I kind of see that. He had plenty of chances in the NFL already. I always thought he should go to the CFL and do his thing personally. Guess he finally realized it just probably won't happen in the NFL. If I had my choice id play Baseball professionally instead of football.

You have a very high opinion of yourself.....he ran an above average 60 yd.......he showed light tower power(65 on an 80) and held his own against live pitching.....his footwork was a little off in the OF but his arm was accurate and technically sound......not overwhelmingly strong but not weak

From what I heard he was good against machine pitching but was nothing special on live pitching against retired players. With that said.. His name alone will get a team in to sign him to gin up ticket sales in the minors Imo.

Well, I did play at Univ of Texas and some minor league baseball :D

Don't have much speed anymore but I could still go out and field/throw and hit against retired pitchers......

I just couldn't catch up to the fast ball last time I tried. Other than that it's like riding a bike.

The slider was my downfall, just couldn't lay off those :(

I go to the cages every once in awhile now, get in the very fast(not fast compared to MiB) and hit every one from both sides of the plate but there is that one that breaks and I always whiff, heh

25 years of slo-pitch did me in. But we had a heck of a time and saw lots of neat places without the stress, and paycheck.

Played a lot of that too, mostly in C leagues. We traveled a lot to play in state and national tourneys. It started turning from serious to beer leagues around age 35

Just saw on your profile your from CA. Never made it out that far, but we played the Triple Crown in Steamboat Springs back when that was a big deal.
