How many of you were rolling your eyes during the game w/ all the humming going on for Tebow? I heard an announcer say the following.


"If you are able to spend just 5 minutes w/ this young man, your life would be so much better for it."


I about puked into my pretzel bowl. I couldn't believe the things they were saying about the second coming of Jesus Christ himself.


Heehehe - You had to laugh a bit. It was so overboard.

Tebow had nothing to do with what they were saying. I agree announcers go overboard but that should not reflect poorly on Tebow.

Well I don't know if ABQ has man love for tebow, but I know exactly what you were talking about and I think he is missing the point.

It was like the annoying man love that Madden has for all things Brett Favre but even worse IMO.

I know it is part of their jobs to talk about the players and so I understood them talking about his character and going on pilgrimages but man they were just slobbering all over themselves and laying it on a little too thick IMO.

Heck I was waiting for them to work in the story about how Tebow was the first college QB to invent fire or the alphabet or something along those lines.
