I don't recall any worries about Wilson off the field (and he's still innocent until proven guilty).

Is there anything to "prove" guilt? He pulled out a rifle in tail-gating parking lot. There are thousand videos.

Guy is a MORON !!!

1/27 Byron Jones CB Connecticut - I'm still a fan but he hasn't turn all of that athleticism into a guy who can get turnovers. He's a unique matchup guy but he gets beat too often.
2/60 Randy Gregory OLB Nebraska - Again, still very hopeful. Only real pass rushing threat on our roster.
3/91 Chaz Green OT Florida - Was always hurt in college, is always hurt in NFL.
4/127 Damien Wilson ILB Minnesota - Recent events aside, has been decent.
5/163 Ryan Russell DE Purdue - Never impressed with him, JAG at Purdue, JAG now.
7/236 Mark Nzeocha OLB Wyoming - I'm okay with risks in the 7th round. Still hoping he pays off.
7/243 Laurence Gibson OT Virginia Tech - Didn't last long.
7/246 Geoff Swaim TE Texas - Overrated by Cowboy fans. Perfectly adequate 3rd TE.

Don't forget the UDFA's, who came out of that same draft class.

La’el Collins, OL, LSU
Lucky Whitehead, WR, Florida Atlantic
Jameill Showers, QB, UTEP

So, what do we have? Jones and Collins as starters, and both of them actually good players, with Wilson having started 6 games last year and the penciled in starter for this season prior to his parking rampage. Green has an outside shot to start at LG, but is probably the swing OT. Swaim developed into what I'd consider a legit TE2. Nzeocha and Lucky are role players. Gregory has been an expensive bust. So, three starters and 4 role players (assuming Nzeocha qualifies as a role player this season). It's an above-average haul.

The excitement right after the draft was with us finding 3 potential first round picks. It didn't quite work out that way, but we still got decent value. Which stands to reason, since we've got one of the deeper young teams in the league right now.

How is this a 3 year analysis when they've played 2 years? Math are hard.

Jones and Collins is a decent haul. Chaz is still TBD. I'm just going to assume Gregory is a bust at this point.

Wilson was a decent 4th. Swaim was showing potential as an NFL player. Nacho is just a question mark.

Depending what ends up happening with Wilson, and if Chaz can stay healthy for longer than 5 minutes, it could go from decent to pretty good.

This looks like it may be the worst draft we've had since Garrett took over and it came at a time that really kind of sucks.

We could really have used just guys that could play/stay on the field. Didn't even need superstars here; but now there's a small gap in our depth because of it.

More so a mental disorder than a so called drug addict. Of all the drugs to be addicted to, Marijuana is a safer choice compared to alcohol or tobacco.
Trust me, no point in starting that argument. Some here dont understand addiction or mental illness lol

Well, at least Byron Jones has been available...

Yeah if you really examine the draft classes in recent years you start to wonder why Will McClay is so popular.

Didn't realize until now, what a subpar draft this was. I love Jones, but even he is a slight underachiever for a 1st rounder.

Three year draft analysis here we go

Zack Martin - Starter, and Pro Bowler.
DeMarcus Lawrence - solid
Anthony Hitchens - solid

One more starter would have been nice. Terrance Mitchell apparently is going to be a starter this year for someone.

Grade: C

You want to see at least 1-2 players stick per draft. Hope for 2-3. If Jones has a solid career then it will be considered a decent draft. If another player sticks and provides a legit role on the team then it will be a good draft.

You need 2-3 starters per draft. Assuming the average nfl career for a starter is 8 years, which is fairly generous, you would need to replace 2.75 starters per year.

So basically 3 out of every 4 years you need 3 starters.

How many games of the possible amount has Lawrence played in? He seems injured constantly. I don't think a guy can be solid unless you can count on him to play.
