Dallas is not alone. The great Burrow almost blew a game in New England. Everything is magnified in Dallas.
Nope, it was stupid play calling and clock management against the Jags and it continued this game. These issues should be MAGNAFIED by the coaches. Instead of one and done, we are one and dumb.

Yeah,
QB decision making in real time is at an all time low.
But at least I don't hafta listen to the clueless parroting of It's Kellens Fault for a week.

Just gotta put up with the same juvenile victim mentality posts of the resident 12 yr olds here who can't handle if something positive is posted about the opponent.

Such is life in the Zone.

This was not in any way a coaching issue.

At the offensive coordinator and special teams coaching level it was not a coaching issue at all.
At the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator level, this game was a major coaching issue.

We had better get a better handle on end of game time management.

It has been horrendous the last 2 games.

We overcame it today, but did not last week.

In the playoffs you can't make these kind of bonehead plays against playoff caliber teams.

I sure hope they can start raising the football IQ of this team, especially Dak's.

Of course it was. Or do we not coach situational football anymore?
Did you have a coach sitting next to you on your coach letting you know that Dak should not have ran out of bounds with 2:01 left on the clock?

They should have cover basic stuff like that well before the game. But whoever is in his earpiece needs to remind him, apparently. That was a called play. Is it so hard to tell him to make sure to keep the clock moving?

Parcells was a master of situational football and coached and practiced different scenarios
His teams had very high football IQs.
Why don't we take this approach?

Same reason we don't close the damn curtains no matter how many times it costs us at home.

Parcells> McCarthy..
THIS ^^^^^^^^^

Whats frustrating is that to pay attention to detail and practice these types of things might take a little extra effort but would pay dividends.

It does not inspire me with a lot of confidence in the current coaching staff that they dont see this.

I don't think it was the coaches fault that Dak had a brainfart and ran out of bounds.

They do need to beat these kind of stuff into players heads in meetings however.

Well as long as that dummy named Kellen Moore is our offensive coordinator, our play selection at key times will continue to be high school level.
