Thankfully your ok, I was worried you got taken hostage in one of those strip clubs in Las Vegas. I know you go to Vegas a lot, and well you know "what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas" .

Not everything ends up staying in Vegas... So- did I miss anything cool in my absence?

With the Hardy suspension reduced by more than half, the last significant roster change is done. I don't see that dream RB coming down the aisle. With that and the football season directly ahead of us in 3 weeks, it's time to guess the Cowboys record next year.

I noticed that 1-3 slide. Should I consider that strategically placed?

I initially got to 13-3 but then thought that one of the games that I figure us as favorites will be a loss. MIA has an excellent defense and an up and coming QB. Plus Risen and co will need something to whine about during the season.

Do we have enough to make a sure guess? Of course not but even right before week 1 that will not be the case. Good thing the point here is to look forward and get a feel for the season as opposed to being correct.

We don't know how good the running game is going to be or the defensive line. Pretty important details. Can't make a prediction without knowing those 2 things. People are just wasting their time in doing so.

I'd take HS football from my alma mater at this point and they are terrible.

Isn't there a second- or third-rate league going on somewhere? I know that some other now-defunct leagues played during the NFL's offseason so as not to compete.
