Time to either trade Parsons or build around him

I don’t think the reason Jerry won’t trade Parsons is because he doesn’t see the logic of doing so, but rather he’s secretly afraid he won’t get the value for him in return that would make it logical.

He isn’t exactly know for coming out on the better side of trades. He’s either given up too much (Lance), or not received enough (Cooper)

Remember when the lions were bad and even Matt M. there GM got the best of Jed in the Williams trade.

, if Jerry wants to move on from Parsons
Here is where you stop reading coz Jerry and Stephen have made it very clear they will sign Parsons at all costs. Parsons has made it clear he is not looking to be the highest-paid D player as some want to believe.

We can’t build a team to save our lives so trade him and send him somewhere where he has a chance to win a championship.

It's a simple choice really, if Jerry wants to move on from Parsons and a heavy contract he definitely needs to find a buyer for one of the best defensive players in the league but Parsons won't come cheap and if Jerry does it right he'll have the upper hand (we hope) when it comes to negotiating with other teams. If Jerry resigns him then you better go heavy on defense come the draft and I mean you get the best defensive player available with your first pick and keep it going with your second. Personally, I think Zayden Walker out of Georgia would be a perfect complement to Parsons on the outside and that tandem would be unstoppable. So Jerry needs to pull the trigger on one or the other because that's how you would be able to build a competitive roster in Dallas.
Well the only answer is build around him, because pass rushers like him.dont come around often

Which the Cowboys never have done. We had Demarcus Ware and never surrounded him with the talent that would have made that defense better.

Ok, he is looking to be the second highest. Don't fool yourself.

I will give Parsons credit for at least attempting to force Jerry to sign him early, that way it is not an excuse to sign other players in Free Agency.

I've said in the past that I'd trade him based purely on the value he could bring.

Still possible.

But with the way guys like Luifau and Overshown have developed, with Kneeland and Sam Williams, Micah could become better

*IF* those guys could stay healthy. I won't count on Overshown coming back anywhere near 100% ever.

Kneeland, Liufau, Carson, Mazi, Overshwon, Fehoko. Last couple of drafts have defensive heavy in first 4-5 rounds. Sprinkled in a few FA's. They need to keep adding thru the draft and FA to make this a top 10 if not top 5 unit again.
Again? Based on the regular season I suppose, because in the playoffs the Defense has been pure doo-doo.

So I would refrain from again, and say finally.
