It's a simple choice really, if Jerry wants to move on from Parsons and a heavy contract he definitely needs to find a buyer for one of the best defensive players in the league but Parsons won't come cheap and if Jerry does it right he'll have the upper hand (we hope) when it comes to negotiating with other teams. If Jerry resigns him then you better go heavy on defense come the draft and I mean you get the best defensive player available with your first pick and keep it going with your second. Personally, I think Zayden Walker out of Georgia would be a perfect complement to Parsons on the outside and that tandem would be unstoppable. So Jerry needs to pull the trigger on one or the other because that's how you would be able to build a competitive roster in Dallas.
Id actually prefer Harmon or Nolan inside or Mykel Williams or James Pearce on the outside.

Williams and Pearce are both chess peice DL's you can play in multiple gaps on both sides of the line. Both are strong run defenders as well. Personally I think the LB/DE hybrid is very overrated as a chess peice. Its basically a 8/9 gap rusher who you are blitzing up the middle sometimes. Give me those two who can play 6 to 9 on either side

Kneeland, Liufau, Carson, Mazi, Overshwon, Fehoko. Last couple of drafts have defensive heavy in first 4-5 rounds. Sprinkled in a few FA's. They need to keep adding thru the draft and FA to make this a top 10 if not top 5 unit again.
A legit running game makes the defense better. Jerry still does not understand complimentary football after 35 years.

He just became the 4th player ever to record 10+ sacks in each of his first 4 seasons.. and you mention his name and trade in the same sentence..

SMH ok..
It’s all in fun. No one believes he’s actually going to be traded. If fans did not concoct ridiculous scenarios there would be no fan forums.

Totally agree... but I will say when Parson spoke on the contract situation and stated he didnt need the highest contract bc he wanted to be able to play with a team that was competitive was a very encouraging outlook, bc I dont think he deserves the highest contract but we havent been able to get the perfect compliment to any of our pass rushers over the years. If he comes back for less they need to be aggressive about building around him to capitalize. But if he is asking for highest or closest to highest paid player, Id trade him for two 1st and move on and start rebuilding on defense.
Dak said the same thing...I hold no trust in what these players say.

Jerry will 100% keep Parsons and make him the highest paid defensive player in NFL history. Do you have any idea how much people talk about Parsons? Do you have any idea what that is worth to Jerry?
