Im thinking a serious car accident had a little to do with Big E's issues.
You can make the argument that the car accident cost us more Super Bowls then Jimmy leaving. Big E. was a Hall of Fame tackle before the accident.

Honestly they should of drafted his replacement years ago. They keep playing with fire by not addressing the problem

As my mom use to tell my brother and I, growing up in the early 70’s pre time out days, “you don’t believe fire burns do you” meaning keep acting up when I have told you to stop already once.

He goes in for a MRI tomorrow after injuring his leg today at practice. It’s not a matter of if anymore, it’s a matter of when.

He hasn’t played an entire season since 2015 missing over 30 games during this span including 6 games last year.

We can’t count on him anymore. And if we do without finding a suitable replacement it places our season at risk without a blindside OT.

He had a great career. Time to move on. Strictly business, nothing personal.

We won't.
Jerry will coddle him for 2 more years like he did Sean Leach, Jaylen, an aged Witten and now LVE.
As I have always said as Clarke once did, his heart is bigger than his brain.

I thought that’s why they drafted Waletzko in the 5th? They could have gone OT in the 3rd or 4th, but they wanted Tolbert and Ferguson. Ferg was so they don’t have to pay Schultz but now they have so many WRs they’ll have to cut some.

I think they tried to get an OT but it just didn’t pan out. Micah over Slater turned out to be the right pick. In 2020 they wanted Ceedee and Diggs. If you wanted to do a draft over I think you would have to go back to 2019 and even not trading for Cooper. You might have gone OL 1st round of 2018 but you’d likely pick Ragnew or Wynn, but Dallas already had a center and Tyron was still playing well then also they went McGovern in the 2nd.

The latest scoop is that the Cowboys have made overtures to Andrew Whitworth lately. He's leaving it up to his family to decide for him. Be advised that anything can happen with that scenario. Since his family evidently was a reason for his retirement of last year, this seems to be an issue that's strictly unsettled. Let's hope things are decided on this matter promptly. The regular season is just around the corner. Yikes! To be continued . . . o_O

He was in the league before he could legally drink. Lots of wear on the tires. He’s done.
If he’d be willing to take a huge hit on his contract I’d consider keeping him on as a backup but he hasn’t played a full season since 2015 missing over 30 games in this stretch including 6 last year which was a contributing factor to our our offense struggling .

It’s time to seek out other options to prevent his injuries from derailing our season every year.

There’s no reason to think he’d be reliable as a backup, either.
