For D'Bricksaw Ferguson. The guy is by far the best player in the draft, and if he played a skill postion he might be considered one of the best prospects ever. This is our biggest need and to me a no-brainer. Trade the 18th pick and Marcus Spears to the Jets for the 4th pick. We have many dlineman and wont miss Spears much. This way we can bring Greg Ellis back. If I were GM I would do this.

Geez, it's true what they say... you really do get a little bit of everything on this board.

Sorry, I don't think D'Brick will be all that

In the VT-UVA game this year, Darryl Tapp did whatever he wanted to with D'Brick

Good player, yes, but he is still fairly light at 275? I think you guys can find better

I will give him this, he is having one hell of a week

Ellis is not a good player for the 3-4. No way can we trade up that far with Spears and our 18th pick. I do think Ferguson is the best player in this years draft, but I would not want to trade up to get him. It would take a boatload of picks to move up to the 4th spot.

To be honest, even if we were going to go all out on the OL, which we won't...I'd rather garner more picks and pick up 2-3 OL than just 1 mega star.

This is called paying too much for your whistle.

We can stay at 18 and get an OL without giving up Spears.

I think D'Brick is the best player in this Draft, but man you don't sacrifice the future to get him.

Ferguson has some of the quickest feet I've EVER seen on a Tackle, but man, he looks thin to me! He's listed @ under 300lbs, which may spell trouble for him if don't start eating his wheaties. He seems to have no trouble with anyone I've seen him against...which is limited to 4 or 5 games this past season, but he'd be an even safer pick with 25 lbs on him @ about 315 to 320. Trading Spears to move up is funny:lmao2: Some team would probably do that, and be laughing like that emotiocon(sp). Keep 'em comin'...I like a good joke!

Nobody likes Ferguson more than me. I think he will be great for many years. That said, Why in the name of all that is Holy trade one of last years #1 picks who showed a ton of potential and proved he could be a force on the Dline AND our # 1 pick this year for a Potentiall great Olineman when it's been proven time and again that excellent linemen can be found in the 2nd and 3rd rounds?

The question is will he be able to hold his own against 3-4 DEs in the running game? I think his pass protection will be superb.

I'm glad most of you all had a good laugh at the suggestion. When I saw Spears name as player we should trade along with our 18th pick, I threw up my Wheaties & can't stop coughing. Sorry for poor typing but my hands still shaking. This is a joke--right. I shouldn't laugh. Sounds like the kind of trades/draft picks Jerry Jones use to make.

Want to hear something even funnier? I don't think the Jets would make that trade.

If we were 1 player away, I could see us moving up without giving up Spears. But we are 4 players on defense, and 2 to 3 players on offense away. And I mean impact players not just bodies.

That's what I was thinking...Only give up Spears to move up 14 spots?

It'll take a lot more than that.

The Days of Mike Lynn are over.
