They run good routes and know how to get open, also they have good hands. Tony need someone other than Jason to be where they suppose to be and will catch the ball. We need more production from 3rd Wr position. Ogletree hasn't done anything since the first game.

His replacement is:
COLE BEASLEY or
DANNY COALE

What you guys think?

It's been time to replace him since about week 4. As usual, the day late and a dollar short Cowboys will let him play out the string and he'll be on the list of scapegoats for a disaster season.

He's a hero week 1, now it's time to replace him :laugh2:

Not to mention he had us in position to win vs the ravens with that PI......but sure, let's replace him.

I'm amazed he knew the route to run to get into position to draw a PI.

He has pretty much gone to sleep since Game 1

he should have already been benched

I really would like to see Harris, Coale, Beasley etc get a shot. Ogletree has had his chances. We need some guys that can at least develop to be accountable.

This!

I vote yes. Room threw @60 passes. And Ogletree only caught 1 pass:banghead:

When you are complimenting a receiver on the penalties he draws thats a bad sign.

I like your attitude here. OTree just doesn't seem to have fire for the game IMHO!

OTree's problem isn't route running or intelligence or anything else. He just doesn't finish. Hit him in the hands and you seem to have a less then 50/50 chance of him catching it. The difference in that Giants game is he was finishing, since then not so much. The PI was a good route that the DB made a mistake on.

I think some of these other guys will see some playing time as the season moves on and coaches feel they can take on the role. Like it or not coaches base many things they do off what they see during the week and in meetings.

I don't know why we didn't see more 2-TE sets with Witten and Phillips. Not only would that have helped the running game - especially on the edges wit a RB like Felix Jones who is more of an East-West runner - but it also would Replace Ogletree with Phillips as that inside/slot receiver.

For some reason Phillips barely plays, but does nothing but make plays when he does. He's a crisp route runner and is as sure as sure can be when catching the ball. I just don't get why he's not used more.

I agree. Give these guys a chance. What is the worst that can happen? They may have a typical Otree game is it.

It's becoming apparent that the RHM trust very few people on this team. Why would he trust two unprovens? He is too stubborn and wants to prove that he can get Dez and Otree to be better players.

Love all the bench Ogletree threads. Guy has the 4th option still has 21 catches and almost 300 years on the season. Not sure what else you can see he was only targeted 2 times yesterday. I think they need to get him into the flow early. But as usual Old Red Ball does not know how to put our players in position to be successful and become better, and run plays they excel in. People seem to forget that the "3rd" guy on this team is not a slot guy. Which is the great white hope (beasley) and Harris's strong point. If you notice it appears that the routes that KO runs seem to take longer to develop and obviously Romo doesn't have time to allow them to develop.

Harris is always in.... He hasn't done anything...
