It's Football 101. When a Defensive Lineman starts to rush the QB, stops and jumps with his arms up to attempt to block the pass, it is the Offensive Linemans job to push the defender square on his tailbone. It does not feel good. It will quickly make the defender think long and hard about leaving his feet again. After it happens a few times, I promise you that the Defender will not leave his feet.

It's human nature. When something hurts, people tend to avoid situations where it will happen again.

I thought this was tought at the High School level. If it was me, I would love to see the pass rusher in front of me leave his feet. If he did, there would be no way he would come down on his feet. he would think twice before doing it again.

If teams think this is a way to try to disrupt Romo, our Lineman need to realize that it is their job to take care of it.
