Twitter: Titans are expected to start QB Josh Dobbs tonight

the number of games played has zero to do with this. It has to do with the fact the Jags and Titans have exact same record and the winner of NEXT weeks game wins the division, making this week's game meaningless. I they had 20 games it wouldnt change anything. If they played 11 games, it would change anything.

If this were the last game of the season as it was before expanding to 17 games then this game would mean a whole lot.

Hopefully the Cowboys don’t come in flat after the big win over Philly. It would be embarrassing to lose to an unknown backup QB. We need to finish the season strong to get us ready for the playoffs.

It’s either going to go one way or the other.

Dobbs is either coming out slinging and dropping dimes. Or he is going to be super conservative and try to run the clock out. Look for a deep pass early

Their identity is to run the football and I believe that’s what they’ll attempt to do even though our pass rush has disappeared. However, we’ve given up over 650 passing yards the last two games and they may attack us that way. We just need to show up ready to play. Three of our four losses were on the road. We need to win on the road or we’re never going to make it past the first round of the playoffs.

At this stage in their careers, I suspect Dobbs is better than Willis.
With either at QB, no Henry, and a suspect D that's also resting players, Dallas better lay it on these guys.

Dobbs can run and pass. Don’t sleep on him. We will win this game. But I expect a lot of people to be confused heading to halftime if this game is close.
  • Set UT records for career rushing yards by a quarterback (2,160), career rushing touchdowns by a QB (32), single-season rushing yards by a QB (831 in 2016) and single-season rushing touchdowns by a QB (12 in 2016). His 2,160 rushing yards also rank 14th among all players in program history.
