Hes doing good because he is in the right scheme to take advantage of his skillset. He wouldn't be that type of rusher with his hand on the ground. He's a stand up rusher.

Just an explosive football player. The FO has been great, but on this one, I think they outsmarted themselves by going Taco over him.

He's a 3-4 rush linebacker, drafting him would have been a fool's errand.

That pick was gift wrapped. There wasn't a browns player within 20 yards of the throw

Actually, QB was throwing deep out. But was too late. And Watt kept dropping into his zone. And made an incredibly athletic, full extension INT of a ball that goes over most OLB's heads and gets completed.

Call me crazy, but I'm going to wait more than one game to decide.

I hear ya. But I watched alot of tape pre-draft and watched their snaps in preseason. Not saying Taco is a bust by any means. But I really think we needed that bend-the-edge, athletic RDE (Watt), not another LDE type (Taco). Just my opinion, and Watt's game today solidified it more.

I know that is the narrative, but Simeon Rice and Jason Taylor played at less than his weight.

These players are the exception IMO. I watched TJ and saw a guy that can get drove off the ball. He will thrive and be a successful player if he can play in space. His problem to play end is 1) he isn't a powerful enough player as previously mentioned, but 2) he doesn't really have elite quickness. His lack of elite quickness would make him a liability if he had to bang with OLine men all game long.
