TNF: Eagles vs Packers

Eagles are a good team. But I think right now they are more of a wildcard contender than anything else.

The wild card teams are going to come out of the NFC West and NFC North. Philly loses tonight and they are dead in the water. Everything from here on out will merely be a formality.

Not sure what the analytics say. But I can’t fault the coach for making that decision. There’s still an entire half to play. Taking the easy point can’t be criticized at this early stage.

I would agree with this. A 8-8/9-7 type team. Wentz isn't bad. I just don't think this team will go out of their way to play hard for him.

I think there injuries have hurt them more then us. We got kind of lucky in that our injuries have happened at spots we have depth

The problem in the first 3 games was Pederson trying to prove Miles Sanders is the next coming of Saquon. Now that they’re feeding Howard, our offense looks like it’s supposed to.

First 3 games:

Sanders - 34 for 106
Howard - 25 for 99

No idea how that happens. No coach is perfect, but at least he’s trying to correct it before it’s too late.

I liked howard coming out of college, tough runner.

Good news and bad news. It looks like their offense as injured players return is starting to get more cohesive, but the good news is there defense has to be the worst in football. We are going to carve them up, and down the field. The only chance they have winning games is Carson Wentz putting up 6 touchdowns a game.
