I .like Winston, I think he has a good arm and can win. But he needs a team around him.

I do like the way he throws the ball. If he had any kind of OL he probably wouldn't have needed to try and play superman on that third down where he fumbled. Without his heroic (and ill fated) attempt he would have lost like 2 or 3 yards on a QB keeper - how is that even possible? Geeze, give the guy a little help.

I don't mean in that they would would do anything incredible like the super bowl, but they were poised for a big leap that hasn't happened.

I don't and never will get the sensation some people get when they watch Matt Ryan.

Good? Yes.

Matty Ice? Way overplayed never really relevant impression.

Problem is, it seems like they've been on the up and up since the 80's - weren't they on the up and up when they had that dynamic Steve Young?

They won a Super Bowl for Gruden, but that was pretty much the blind squirrel finding its nut.
 
Ever since Hard Knocks was with Atlanta 2 years ago I thought the GM there was clueless. Then the GM in TB managed to top that guy.
 
The Bucs are SUPPOSED to be on the up and up. Instead, Winston has stalled, Koetter seems like a boob, and the team isn't any better than it was under Lovie.

I so completely agree, Alexander. Matty Ice is not taking a team to the big show unless he has a top defense. He folds like a cheap kite under pressure. It's only a matter of time.

I agree with Koetter and Lovie, but Winston has not stalled, bro. It's his damn second year. Everyone hyping the Bucs in preseason were either Bucs fans (the homers) or people that had unrealistic expectations. Everyone else knew they're still a team in development
