Detroit defenders dropping like flies. That's rough.

It's challenging enough starting the season with multiple starters injured early. However, there's the chance they will come back for a strong finish if that team endured while they were away.

It's a tragedy when you start out strong and actually dominate, only to fade in December as several vital players go down.

It feels like a cruel joke as if Fate is sitting right next to you and he's the only one with a remote in his hand. You just get to sit there and slowly die as your team's once promising season gets flushed down the drain, into the abyss.

.....Sorry.......I was getting "1986 season" flashbacks.....

Seriously, that shouldn't happen to those Lion fans, we gotta give them this one if the Cowboys don't get an immense stroke of luck.

I mean, the Lions have never been to a Super Bowl and they have never looked more like it was possible than this season. My respect to Barry Sanders but, in totality, it's this team.

I hate to say it, but in THAT situation, I'm going for it too. A couple inches, a 'tush push', basically wins the game. Meanwhile if you kick a field goal, 40 plus seconds left is plenty of time for Love and GB to get in the field goal range.

Heck of a game. I love games like this when it comes down to who gets ball last.
