To all of you who said we beat up Philly last week

He played great in the SB though. I agree, I'm no fan of Hurts the QB. But you have to give him his dues in that game. Reid took away Barkley and challenged Hurts to beat him. Reid lost that challenge.
Oh I take nothing away from him or the Eagles. All due respect in that regard.

All I'm saying is that this is what the NFL is now. Because we can all see Hurts' limitations as a passer.

Isn’t there some kind of issue between those guys that goes beyond the field. Something like a love triangle? Does anyone know more about this. Mike Fisher, aka Uncle Fish, aka your trusty and trusted reporter said something about it a while ago on his show. But if they don’t like each other and they’re both stuck in Philly for a couple years that’s great for us.
Yeah man that's a good question. We've all heard the rumblings for the last few years. I dont believe they are particularly close. If I had to guess its because Brown is a d bag.

The year they started off like 10-0 and then completely imploded there was a local beat writer who did a podcast series about how off the team chemistry was despite their record. I listened to some of it, but honestly dont remember much. Anyway, its been ongoing for awhile I gather.

I was kinda skeptical but did you SEE them wilt under the mighty Bears rush offense today? Granted, Chicago kicked our butts too but that was before we added Clowney/Williams/Wilson quite frankly. In other words....we beat the Iggles twice boys. LOL.
Couldn't Decide watching the sidelines If there was any urgency in those players. On the other side bears there was Hooten hollering

I guess im just suprised they stayed upright.
That was really a vague reference to The zombie movie "Dawn of the Dead". The zombies went to the shopping mall because it was their normal routine when they were alive and didn't know what else to do. It was a way to reference them as mindless and also tie it to the Xylazine issue in Philly. Probably a bit too esoteric, and maybe too dark, for a football forum. Especially considering the movie is 40 years old (Although they did do a remake which I never saw.).

Hurts was terrible. A QB like Burrow hits all those open receivers and drops 28 easy on the Bears. Their OC and his predictable offense will doom that team. I can’t believe Patullo hasn’t been fired. Word is that Daboll will be acting as an “advisor” for the team.

Prediction: if the Eagles miss the playoffs, Hurts is gone.
Hurts is 117M dead cap, so he probably plays 2026.

What is it with fans wanting to fire coordinators midseason now. Has that ever worked?

I would not necessarily say we beat them up.

Didn't catch the Dawn of the Dead reference, but was definitely all in on that "fent lean." I agree i felt a little dark going with you on it, but also screw Philly.

You two are floating all that past the citizens

It is kind of crazy for a Super Bowl champion team that's done a lot the last five years for that fan base to hear them Boo their own team at home on Black Friday that's I don't know that's this next level crazy fan base...
They are the kind of fans that cheered when Michael Irving got hurt bad and ended up losing his career. Got no use for them.

Hurts got a ring because of the supporting cast he had. When things around him aren't just right, you are seeing what he is. He's a slightly below mediocre QB that can hurt you running it more than he can passing.

His biggest strength besides his legs is that he minimizes mistakes better than most other QBs.

Philly fans are ready to give Patillo the old cement shoes treatment, about 40 miles off of Atlantic City.

Yeah, you're not kidding. I live it over here. When they did that in 2023 with their DC, how did that work out? Now their OC is bland and predictable. What about when they were winning? They need players to execute. Swapping out coordinators isn't making the offense play better. The Giants are going to find that out with their defense.
