T.O. and Roy were friends in Dallas. After watching it, it's pretty obvious T.O. meant it jokingly. I'd bet him and Roy have spoken to each other about their putrid numbers this year.
Exactly this.

T.O. when asked about his bad numbers, he smiled and said something along the lines of "i just look in dallas at Roy E Williams numbers, my goal is just to beat him."

petty much? hopefully this will spur on ROY E to have a big game.

ie - the media coverage here in buffalo SUCKS so i need to get what little 15 minutes of fame i have left by ragging on the cowboys again, knowing there's still a facet of the fans there that will take the bait.

so his goal is to be better than someone many here want cut. wow.

Except the problem is games played. TO has played in 7 games and has 18 catches for 242 yards and a 13.4 avg. and 1 TD.

Meanwhile Roy has played in 5 games. 2 fewer.

He has 12 catches, for 230 yards, 19.2 yards per catch, and a TD.

Hate to tell you Terrell but you won't finish ahead of him with a 2 game head start. It is not going to happen.

it's like watching 2 turds in a bowl argue over who the better turd is.

Someone should remind T.O. that the Cowboys have significantly upgraded their WR corps and production, and have done so with the only significant roster move of DELETING him from it.

And the fact that they both will finish with significantly disappointing seasons is good for what reason again?

These current stats ur spitting out are equivalent to that of a 3rd or 4th option on the depth chart. One cost us 3 picks and the other ate a nice hole in our salary cap. Awesome.

Both are putting up crappy numbers.

At least TO can say that plays on a team with bad QB play and can use the excuse that we all eventually begin to slow down with age.

What's Roy's excuse for the dropsies and the fear of going over the middle (re: alligator arms).

Except the turd in blue and silver isn't arguing (commenting) about the turd in blue and red.

I'll reserve judgement on stats after December... No awards are given out in the first two months of the NFL regular season.

If TO was a catfish, his jingle would be "I love me some stinkbait ."

Roy Williams is no T.O.

Roy Williams stood up after Sunday's win over Atlanta and called it the worst game of his life. He didn't use his sore ribs as an excuse or blame the quarterback for not throwing the ball his way enough.

He stuck by those words Wednesday.

"I don't want to blame it on rust,'' said Williams, who caught one pass and dropped two others. "I don't want to blame it on medication or anything like that. I just played terrible.

"The thing I've got to do, I've got a chance to get better this week. I'm glad that wasn't the last game of the year because I would have to live with this for four or five months.

"But that taste is out of my mouth. I'm ready to roll. I'm ready to catch the ball and do the things I've been doing.''

Head coach Wade Phillips appreciates that approach.

"I think it says a lot for Roy that he said, 'I had a bad game,''' Phillips said. "To me, guys like that who have ability and work hard...

"The guys who never admit any mistakes always worry me.''

Have the Cowboys had any receivers like that the past few years?

Roy is a team player, and is doing about as good as TO is...
ill take the team player, our guys are doing fine replacing TOs production elsewhere.. you guys ever think, maybe romo has to force some balls to TO if he were here, and those balls don't get to austin?
I think that has more to do with the fact that T.O. was just simply better in recent years than Roy is now and Roy knows that.

Roy still comes off as arrogant and like another poster said, him and Crayton both write checks they cant cash. I wish they had the attitude Austin has.

Since you asked, he has torn rib cartilage and was taking pain meds just so he could play. The head coach questioned if he was even going to play in the game.

What kind of weird turds do you have, iceberg?

I'd consider changing my diet.

I'm sick and tire of T.O- It's not that he isn't a better WR than RW- T.O- bring a lot unwated media traffic. This team is better off without him. And I'm not worried about RW- I do believe that his number will pick up. We will be better by year end.
