In my opinion, this is one of those rare times where Terrell Owens made a public statement without any self-serving ulterior motive. However, I also believe the motivation behind his comments are envy based. Even though his numbers are down and he playfully makes comparisons with those of his successor, that's telling. Owens has a very imaginable mind. He could have come up with practically anything as a response to the media. What he came up with practically focused solely on his ex-team. I think that's pretty significant.

TO is done and he knows it, but still apparently has plenty of stupid comments left.

That being said, I'll be thrilled when grown men (or at least those on this board that I assume are grown men) quit using the phrase "butt hurt".

I'll be thrilled when grown men (or at least those on this board that I assume are grown men) quit deserving the phrase "butt hurt".

And I don't even use that phrase.

This play, a bad one for Dallas, is why I will always like Terrell Owens.

Romo's INT vs GB Go to about the 0:55 mark.

Notice that TO is knocked down at about the 4 yard line, yet he's the one that gets up, sprints down field and makes the tackle. Few folks gave him credit for his desire..THAT was an example of desire.

I didn't want T.O. but grew to really appreciate his playmaking and the impact he had on how defenses played us. My gut reaction upon his departure was disappointment.

Our team chemistry is improved and Jerry's public rationale for the move- seeing what we have in Roy and Austin- is now proving to be more sound than anyone was willing to admit at the time.

It's easy to say you'd rather have T.O., no Roy and our three draft picks back. But there is no earthly way Austin (or a high WR draft pick) would have had the opportunity to breakout with T.O. on the field. There are many reasons to believe the team would've continued to implode with a devisive (and declining) WR on the roster.

Fact is, T.O. is really bad this year. Sure, he plays with a poor QB but it doesn't change the fact that he's getting shut down. His production is bad but its even more glaring when you note that he's in the top 30 in targets (42) but leads the league with 7 unofficial drops.

Even taking chemistry out of the equation, we might've made an Eagles-eque move by cutting a player right at his decline and trusting that we had a capable replacement on the roster. Who cares if it ends up being Austin instead of Roy?

Funny. I was just thinking how refreshing it would be for supposed grown men to refrain from saying that their team's new stadium sucks at every conceivable opportunity. Yeah. I know. Wild.

Geez, I had forgotten about that. I hated Owens coming here, but after a few months here I did not mind it so much because he absolutely worked as hard as anyone on the team. There are so many plays like this of him running with guys all the way down the field to block, or like this one chasing someone down...

Its a shame he had the attitude and negative parts of his personality that he has or I think he would be remembered as one of the greatest of all time, as it is he will always be remembered as good, but lots of baggage, at least IMO. Sometimes Im glad he is gone, (esp. considering what he would have said after some of the games) but watching this reminds me of why I started liking him.

Perhaps;). Yeah, probably right about the stadium stuff, maybe its out of my system. Complaining aint going to do anything about it, I just hope he opens the roof more often. It did look nice with the sun coming in during the 2nd half of the game last week, though.

That place looks ridiculously amazing on TV. I can only imagine what it feels to actually attend a game in it. Open the roof and it's just pure heaven on earth.

At least he played with heart and emotion. Both of which our coaching staff and team lacks.

Yeah. The whole team lacked emotion except TO...
Well, I guess they weren't dripping ridiculous tears at press conferences like he was...so you're right.

Didn't see much emotion last week or at the end of KC I guess.

You hate Romo, you hate the coaches, the "team lacks heart"...
Why do you even bother watching? To see if they screw up so you can crow about how you're right when things don't go well?

The Buffalo media around here are really starting to do a 180 on this guy. They were all star struck when the Bills signed him. Now they're saying things like "when is he going to show up", "he looks like he's taking plays off", "he looked like he gave up on the route", "he had some drops today".

And now many are starting to wish the Bills traded him at the trade deadline because most fans wanted a full blown fire sale this year.

I think he's too tired to even complain about the situation he's in anymore.

Oh and the Bills tried out Patrick Ramsey today...sounds like Trent might be hurt alot more than they think.

Yep, some you guys are as bad as you all claim TO is. Roy and TO are cool, and roy said 3 or 4 weeks ago he wishes TO was still here. It was all in fun.

TO does wish he was in Roy Williams shoes though.
