In my opinion, this is one of those rare times where Terrell Owens made a public statement without any self-serving ulterior motive. However, I also believe the motivation behind his comments are envy based. Even though his numbers are down and he playfully makes comparisons with those of his successor, that's telling. Owens has a very imaginable mind. He could have come up with practically anything as a response to the media. What he came up with practically focused solely on his ex-team. I think that's pretty significant.dcfanatic;3042766 said:
I'll be thrilled when grown men (or at least those on this board that I assume are grown men) quit deserving the phrase "butt hurt".utrunner07;3043040 said:TO is done and he knows it, but still apparently has plenty of stupid comments left.

Funny. I was just thinking how refreshing it would be for supposed grown men to refrain from saying that their team's new stadium sucks at every conceivable opportunity. Yeah. I know. Wild.utrunner07;3043040 said:TO is done and he knows it, but still apparently has plenty of stupid comments left.

Romo's INT vs GB Go to about the 0:55 mark.
Notice that TO is knocked down at about the 4 yard line, yet he's the one that gets up, sprints down field and makes the tackle. Few folks gave him credit for his desire..THAT was an example of desire.

There are so many plays like this of him running with guys all the way down the field to block, or like this one chasing someone down...
Its a shame he had the attitude and negative parts of his personality that he has or I think he would be remembered as one of the greatest of all time, as it is he will always be remembered as good, but lots of baggage, at least IMO. Sometimes Im glad he is gone, (esp. considering what he would have said after some of the games) but watching this reminds me of why I started liking him.
