Our defense was 17th in the league last year (16th in points, with the offense allowing quite a few of those) with 0 offense and without one of it's best players in Scandy. Yea there were no picks and no sacks... but you know how to get more picks and sacks... force teams to throw the ball more (and force them into situations where you know they have to throw the ball)... you know how you force teams to throw the ball more... SCORE POINTS. Our defense is not as bad as it's made out to be, even without 6 sack Hardy we will be fine, especially after week 5. Let's get some defense on Day 2 and we will be fine. There is nothing to freak out over.

nah our defence sucks but we need a good RB to get those 3rd and 1s to keep the ball moving, which we didn't get last year.

Our defense is average maybe, not horrible. They were 5th in pass defense which is what Ramsey would have upgraded... but that has a very obvious explanation of why (the other team never had to throw it)

Life after Romo will be much easier with this OL and Zeke. We won't be asking the QB to carry the load right away. I'm not sure Ramsey makes a real difference for us. We need DL IMO.

Our defense wasn't bad. Who thinks this?! Without Scandrick and horrible safeties, we did great down the stretch when they had nothing to play for. I'm excited for the new triplets. Zeke, Dez and Romo.

Scandy at CB and Jones at safety should really help that. It wasn't just down the stretch either. How many games did we lose because the defense just got wore out, the Pats and Panthers game come immediately to mind here (of course the Panthers game the defense never really was that bad... just an injured Romo was).

Our pass rush and creating turnovers isn't exactly something to smile about. We have no idea what Randy Gregory will bring when he returns, hopefully Lawrence shows what he did 2nd half last season.

Our defense might be OK for regular season. If we had made the plays-offs last year it would have been one the weakest ones in the post season.

True but like I said... a good offense helps create a good defense.

We aren't freaking out about the defense because of Zeke.

We are freaking out because taking a RB at 4 is stupid. Having a stupid brain trust is reason enough to freak out.

I was encouraged by Stephen and the discipline he has injected into the organization. But nope. When Jerry acts as a tiebreaker. You have the opportunity to make ridiculous decisions like this.

Just like we were freaking out because taking a center in the first round is stupid right?

Well on the flip side, McFadden ran for over 1000 yds after not starting for the first five weeks of the season with no Romo and Dez......so.........

Yea, in one of the few years McFadden has stayed healthy... I wouldn't bet on him.
