I don't think TO needs to talk to everybody on the roster that he sees. It wouldn't be that big of a deal.

ESPN1050 is mostly NON-NY guys. (everyone except Michael Kay essentially)

he's a philly paper guy.

Does he host a daily radio show for ESPN 1050 in NYC from NYC? Then he's a part of the NY media. I listen to the show and they mostly discuss Yanks, Mets, Jets, Giants, Knicks, Nets, Rangers, Islanders and Devils, local college basketball and so on. It's a NYC show and he's a part of the NY media. His cohost is also a NYC guy, BT. He does still write for the Philly Inquirer, but its more of a national column that he writes from the comfort of his home in NYC, he's hardly ever in Philly. Like I said he's a NYC guy and a part of the NY media.

Just a heads up, there are some notorious Philly-based Cowboy-haters out there who you can never trust. They are, among others, Stephen A Smith, Tony Bruno, Ron Jaworski and Sal Palintonio. TO not talking to teammates is complete crap.

If only that were the case.

The current tabloid media see Terrell Owens as a "cash cow of controversy" giving them plenty of scandal to sell papers and get ratings for their shows.

Everything Owens does or doesn't do at this point will be a big deal, until the day comes when either:

a) The scandal well runs dry

b) Owens is no longer a big-time player in the NFL

c) The fans get completely tired of hearing about him

We'll see which happens first.

Philly Pimp Smith reports some drivel, we hear directly opposite from local sportswriters and players, and we have people that choose to beleive the pimp?

And then they have the gall to say they are Cowboy fans.

I don't believe anything Screamin'A(hole)Smith has to say.
Not a single word.
If he is to tell me today that he has a mother,I would doubt him.
That's how I feel about him.

Wha???? Did anyone say they believed him?

The only argument I see is whether or not Smith is NY media or not, LOL.

A couple of days ago Tony Romo was telling us how TO was listening to him explain how they run a certain route in Dallas.

So TO will take criticsm from the backup QB but now is not talking to teamates?

Okay, sure.

He's heard about Romo's moxie...and that he's good with a golf club....He's scaaarrred.

Were it not quickly squelched by actual commentary from Owens and his teammates themselves, you would have had a few believing it and chiming in.

he's not part of the established "NY Media" by any stretch. his show can be cancelled any day.

"NY media" are long-timers (football think gary myers, serby, etc.) who went thru the ranks (reporters, beet writers, local play by play, etc.).

by your definition anyone heard on the radio in NY for a few minutes a week is a "NY media" guy. Dan Patrick is a NY Media guy too... he has a show on 1050. LOL.

Just listening to the Steven A Smith on 1050-ESPN in New york and he said that TO has been walking by his new teammates and not aknowledging them when they speak to him.

I don't know how he knows this, nor did he offer up anyones names (pretty irresponsible, if you ask me) but I hope he's way off base with this one. Maybe we'll get some clarity from an actual Cowboy scribe. Mick, JJT?

I stopped reading at Steven A. Smith...I could care less what he is trying to churn up.

That's different Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd, Mike & Mike and Jim Rome et al shows are nationally syndicated and they discuss all the teams in the NFL, baseball and basketball and so on on a more regular basis. Those guys are on in hundreds of cities throughout the country. The ESPN guys are based in Bristol, CT. On Stephen A. Smith's show, while he does discuss many different teams, his show usually revolves around the NY teams and he is not on the radio in many cities throughout the country, just NYC and does his show from there. Are Mike & The Mad Dog "NY Media"? They host a radio show just like Smith and they discuss the NY teams at length. Smith also wrote for a NY paper in the early 90's at some point. If you don't think Smith is a part of the NY sports media, you're clueless.

So you have to work in NY media for a long time to be part of the NY media? You don't make sense. So Smith wrote and still does write for the Philly Inquirer, does he have the alotted time in there to be considered a "long timer" and is thus Philly media? You can't have it both ways.

Did you say Gary Myers???
The same Gary Myers who wrote an article saying that Parcells silence meant that he was against the TO signing?
What facts did he have to back that up?
Just curious.
